City Club Cabo San Lucas — Restaurant in Baja California Sur

We shopped at City Club few times and I find their prices and products very compatible with other whole sale prices. We had an incident at City Club this morning and when we wanted to share it with others so they don't get tricked like us. NEVER BUY AN ACTIVITY TICKET AT CITY CLUB CABO SAN LUCAS. IT IS A GOLF CLUB MEMBERSHIP GIMMIC. There is a guy at the entrance selling attractions tickets. Yesterday I asked information CABO RAY SUNSET CRUISE. We were told instead of $116 they would sell it to us for $60 each. When I mentioned I had a group of 11 people I was told I would even get one ticket free. After spending some time making reservation, he kept asking where we were staying. When he heard we were staying at GRAND SOLMAR he said in that case I can make it 2 for 1 as long as all of us come back next morning between 8 - 9:30 and show proof we were staying at Grand Solmar. We asked many times over and over again to see if this was a timeshare trick. He assured us over and over again that it wasn't. We could not figure out why we had to get up so early in the morning to come back to get the tickets and why we couldn't buy them right there and than. We were given an excuse like we could only get it at that time. He filled out the reservation papers, paid a $100 deposit and left. So all of us got up much earlier than our regular time, showed up on time. We were getting ready to pay for it than he came back with a lady from "we assume" costumer service. He said they are not allowing him to make the payment. We have to go to diamond club to pay for it which was only couple of block away. . We told him again if it was time share we are not interested. HE SAID NO. He made a phone call and told us the guy will give us 2 days of free golf . If we don't play golf we should bring the golf coupon to him and he offered us another $30 discount. We were so amazed he kept giving us discount after discount. We were waiting for him to give us the direction, he finally admitted it is not time share but it is a GOLF CLUB MEMBERSHIP. When we told him we are not interested and he should sell us the tickets at the price he promised us he said "I DON'T HAVE TO DO ANYTHING. YOU CAN GO AND COMPLAIN TO WHOME EVER YOU WANT". He gave our deposit back and he was very rude. We said we want to see the store manager. First he talked to the store manager for a while in Spanish. When we wanted to tell the manager what happened manager said HE DIDN'T EVEN SPEAK ANY ENGLISH. They made us feel like we were stupid idiots. We were very angry for making the trip there twice for no reason. IF CITY CLUB LETS THESE PEOPLE SELL TICKETS AT THEIR PREMISES, THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR...

Ayer en la tarde fui a esta tienda y me pareció pésima la atención que se le brinda al cliente local, las damas que estaban en la entrada no tienen ni un ápice de educación, son burdas y carentes de ética, llegamos mis dos hijas y yo a dicho establecimiento y nos pidieron nuestras respectivas membresías y solo una de mis hijas la traía y la otra se tuvo que quedar afuera por esa razón, está bien no importa son las reglas y deben ellas aplicarlas, pero hay formas para ello, lo hacen con despotismo y discriminación, digo ésto porque cuando salimos de la tienda después de realizar nuestras compras observamos que entraron tres damas norteamericanas sin membresías por lo que me dirigí a las empleadas bastante molesto para cuestionarlas al respecto y no tuvieron ningún argumento para aclar mi pregunta, lo único que hizo una de ellas fue echarle la culpa a su compañera que tenía de lado por lo que le pregunté directamente a ésta y tampoco supo darme una respuesta, lo único que hizo es quedarse "muda" y voltear los ojos de un lado a otro, posteriormente llegó un joven a "hacerles el quite" a las empleadas argumentando que ellas habían entrado con pase pero nunca vimos que ellas mostraran tal documento, además hasta donde yo tengo entendido ya no se extienden pases a ninguna persona, así mismo cabe mencionar que fuera del establecimiento había muchas personas quejándose y reprobando la actitud que han venido tomado esta tienda y algunas otras, cuando lo que debería de hacer es estar agredecidas por favorecerlos con sus compras, pero desgraciadamente hay muchos mexicanos que no tienen la cultura de la protesta, y es por eso que aún en nuestros días seguimos...

This is basically a Mexican imitation of Costco. Has a few nice tequilas but very little in the way of beer options. Food is bulk for some stuff and normal on others. Worth checking out for your shopping needs in CSL. The day pass is only like 25 pesos. You can take your purchase right to the member counter and skip the line FYI. Be warned that it may take awhile to check out. Nobody spoke English and they had a heck of a time figuring out my very simple...
