I like hidden gems and this place has that gem flavor. The meat is just juicy, flavorful and primed to fill you up. Prices may seem higher than street vendors, but you're sitting in a fun and bustling area out of the sun. Eating food made fresh from the kitchen The hot sauces are amazing. That Horchata is not too sweet which is perfect.

I got the tacos birria de res and carne asada Were almost perfect. I think they were on point for tacos, but I wasn't sure what it was missing. The fat and juices were what most LA food trucks lack, but I think I would like a few more options for toppings. But that's me being greedy and an American. Definitely Chek this place out and shop...

Have been here many, many times over the years...and has always been excellent, UNTIL YESTERDAY. The MENUDO WAS OLD, COLD, GREASY AND TASTELESS. The CHIVO BIRRIA WAS COLD BROWN WATER. NO TASTE, AND JUST A FEW PIECES OF MEAT. NEVER HAVE I EVER HAD A MORE HORRIBLE MEAL.Even the handmade tortillas were undercooked! Called the manager, but he was UNAPOLOGETIC AND DISMISSIVE. Needless to say we couldn't consume our meal. The service was bad not to mention. Overall...EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. I WILL NEVER GO BACK. I WILL INFORM FRIENDS AND FAMILY OF MY ENCOUNTER. i love tijuana, and some of my dearest friends were born and raised there so they know exactly where to take me. breakfast at birrieria el rincón del oso was unforgettable: a steaming bowl of birria with fresh cilantro, onions, and lime on the side, plus rice and eggs smothered in salsa that tasted like home cooking at its best. the room was buzzing, everyone gathered over bowls of consomé and stacks of tortillas. i left full, happy, and already dreaming...
