This was THE BEST experience of our our trip to Cancun! My husband and I along with some friends were staying at a condo just north and noticed that there was a restaurant tucked back down a driveway as we walked past our first day. We decided to stop in and boy were we happy we did! We were greeted at the door with a smile and seated at a table on the beach where we could watch the sunset. My husband and a friend both ordered the surf and turf and it was AMAZING! I ordered the skirt steak and my friend ordered the steak fajitas. Let me just say, that steak was the best...I've never had a skirt steak that was so tender I could cut it with a fork! Our waiter, Pablo was fantastic! He and the manager, Roman went above and beyond to make our night the best we had during our 5 day trip. It was so enjoyable, we came back the next day for lunch and brought friends back the next evening for drinks. This place is a hidden gem that everyone should try! Between the four of us, we tried several different appetizers (the Marlin dip is to die for) and entrees (both lunch and dinner) and everything was outstanding! The seafood is fresh and you can even take a fishing trip from the pier at the restaurant and they will cook anything you catch! I can't say enough about our entire experience and plan to tell everyone I know to stop in and visit Pablo when they vacation in Cancun! If you don't go, you are missing out! Read moreWe stayed at a nearby all-inclusive resort with decent food. However, friends we met at the resort told us about this phenomenal restaurant they had just had dinner at. We decided to give it a try. This is hands down the best place I have ever eaten, in the Mexico OR the US. The Red Snapper is unbelievable, the lobster and filet was out of this world.. the margaritas were superb. But more than this incredible food.. the service left us dumbfounded. It was extremely romantic (we sat on the beach under the stars), Chef Miguel, along with our server Pablo, came out and played music for us. They were phenomenal. We returned 2 nights later with some friends we had met from the UK. They agreed that it was the best meal they had ever had. Miguel's sincerity with the phrase "My Casa your Casa, Welcome!" was believable and heartwarming. Pablo's service and attentiveness was second to none. I find it difficult to stop gushing... Read moreWe came here at the recommendation of our boat captain after deep sea fishing. The crew fileted our fish (barracuda and one snapper) and we took it here. They cooked everything up for us for $15 per person. My 7 year old didn't eat much and it was just a standard pricing for them. While waiting for food, we got a fresh cold coconut. They made some into a ceviche which was hands down the best we've had. We should have gotten more of the ceviche had we known it was so good. The rest They made into some breaded, a light grilled, and a blackened grill. They added some cucumber, tomatoe, salad and fries. Food was fantastic.
