Absolutely awful. Went to Playa Caracol to buy tickets for the Ultramar ferry. Xcaret came up to me and tried selling tickets. I bought them. I was told the pier was a short walk but to take the bus, that the bus ticket is included in the ferry ticket. Tried getting on a bus and was told I’d have to pay. Got off the bus and started walking figuring it was close since that’s what I was told. I asked someone for directions and they told me I’d need to take the bus because it was a couple Kilometers away. Ended up getting back on a bus and paying. Got off at Embarcadero, went inside and talked to the agent at the counter. Showered her my ticket, said I wanted to go to Isla Mujeres, where do I go now? It was 11:50am. She told me the next one is at 12:25 and to just wait upstairs (where I entered from). Waited, watched a ferry pull out of the port. Asked again and was told soon. Then I was told it was ready. It was for the amusement park ride… totally wasted my time. I was carrying a suitcase and a backpack… I asked about the ferry. Why would I want to get on a ride?...

Snorkeling was fun and guided by the tour and we got to see a lot. Arrived at the private beach club ate good food Good drinks and then to our chairs and umbrellas and clear water beach. Then toured the city and area was great. We decided to take a ferry back instead , they leave every hour, the catamaran crew dsnt announce that you can go back in the ferry for the fear of losing tips of the end of the catamaran trip which ended at 220pm which is very early.
