Had a great time here with my friends for a week getaway in Cancun. I will list some tips and pros and cons of this resort. Only reason I’m knocking off a point was because of the people who kept harassing us to buy their time share. Tip: DO NOT buy the taxi service from the hotel, they will overcharge you $15-20 USD for anywhere you’re going even if it’s a 10 min drive. Use the buses that run through the hotel zone for 20 pesos ($1USD) to get to the Cancun city area and you can check for the times they come & directions and all using the Moovit app on the App Store OR use the uber app since it works & will be cheaper than requesting taxi service at the resort. OR use this app called Indrive where you will be able to bid on prices of how much you want to pay for a ride to where ever you’re going and drivers will be able to place different prices & you pick your price, and you’re able to pay in pesos in person and is SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than requesting taxi service, and IS safe. My friends and I used it and we only paid $3 for a 10 minute ride to the plaza de las americas where the resort quoted us $15-$20 for a ride there using their taxi service. I HIGHLY recommend. Pros; Food was good, pool was great, and the people really made the experience. Restaurants were up to par and good, staff on food & drink service were incredible. Housekeeping was great, and the vibes were all there. Cons: Though I will say, they will try to make you buy their time share. They do this by telling you to apply for a giveaway upon entry, that they’re having and that if you attend a meeting about it the next day, they will give you some coupons and free entrance to the sky lounge if you aren’t a premiere member. DONT DO IT. I REPEAT, DONT DO IT. They have you either pick 9am or 12pm so that way one of the time share sellers will either have breakfast or lunch with you and try to talk to you and then try to sell their “premiere deal” to you. Meanwhile this is uncomfortable while trying to have breakfast or lunch with friends, and just trying to enjoy your stay, it just isn’t right. While they’re talking to you, they will ask you about traveling and what you do for a living etc etc, and when they finally take you into the room to sell you the deal they do not take no as an answer and will start using everything you told them and throwing it back in your face to try to make the sale. They will call multiple people to the table to try and sell you their hotel deal and will not take no for an answer. Please beware and just decline it at all costs if you don’t want to spend extra money on vacation. Towards the end, my friends and I got frustrated so I asked for us to leave because we did not want to do this and we had already wasted 2 hours of our vacation time listening to these people over and over trying to sell us. They just didn’t take “NO” as an answer, and they kept wanting us to repeat the same reasons as to why not, while also throwing back everything we said about traveling to our faces. Avoid this at all costs if you want to have a relaxing stay. - The beach wasn’t the best, thought we did go while it wasn’t beach season, it isn’t their fault, but my friends and I did get rash all over our body after being in the beach water for a while, seems like there were sea lice and they shouldn’t have been letting anyone in the water. But again, not their entire fault but they shouldn’t be testing the water for this and letting guests know if it is safe to get in the water or not. - The performances were okay, but not the best. I expected a lot more because of other resorts I’ve been to but the staff that performed didn’t really show like they gave their all on the performances and just gave the vibe of not really wanting to be there to perform. The men were performing way better than the women, I should add. Just felt like they half assed the performances.

All of your questions answered! Should I start with the good or the bad? I'll start with the good. Lots of chairs, we always had options for open chairs. No reservations needed for 4 of the 6 restaurants. The restaurants always had availability. Make reservations day of for She and Hibachi. The beach was nice and the water was warm. They cleaned the beach daily. They patrol the beach for safety. Free use of hammocks. Cafe open 6am to 11pm, delicious coffee options and sweets. The desserts are amazing!!!!! Buffet was decent. Drinks were decent. The staff kept the property very clean. Dozens of employees were cleaning and maintaining the grounds daily. A real hot tub!! The last few resorts I went to didn't have a real hot tub. I love a hot tub! Free use of kayaks, paddle boards, catamarans! Saw starfish and lots of birds-such a beautiful time. This was my favorite part of this resort. Customers at the resort are really nice. No one was rude or offensive. The cable TV is really good. The other resorts I've been to have terrible choices. The staff stopped men from taking photos at the sexy pool. They take privacy very seriously. You even have to sign a no photo policy. When we went on excursions outside of the resort, they questioned the driver a lot which made me feel protected. Now on to the bad. When you check in, a lady will speak to you about the resort. She will offer you a gift gift. But what isn't really communicated is that you have to attend a breakfast seminar so they can sell you on their premiere club. We didn't fall for this and declined. Staff walk around and ask you if you want to schedule a spa appointment. This happened daily. Annoying. If you aren't part of the premiere club, the wait staff ignore you at the pool. This wasn't really bad, but to some it was. Just go to the pool bar. The loud party music does penetrate to the quiet pool. The garden rooms are not good. Not enough counter space. The blinds open every time you walk in. Most times I just want walk in and take off my wet suit but there were workers outside of the room.... And the blinds open. So weird. The AC turns off. So you just have to turn it back on multiple times a day. The black cabinets are really annoying. Took a dozen times to get them latched each day. The staff would not replenish the shampoo. I have a lot of hair so I'd have to call down for more. The staff would not replenish the water bottles so I'd leave the cabinet door open daily slto remind them. I read the nightly parties would blast music until 3am and penetrate the rooms. We asked for a quiet room, but we ended up next to the busy road. We heard sirens and horns all the time from the road. The hallways are sooooo loud. The doors slam shut and the loud drunk people would wake us up multiple times a night 11pm, 1am, 3am. Bring earplugs!!! The shower is designed ridiculous. Water gets everywhere. Whoever designed this needs to be fired. There is definitely mildew in the bathrooms. Overall, it was ok. I only booked it because I got 8 days for under 2k. I'm not a night owl, so I skipped all of the night parties. I mostly stayed at the quiet pool or beach. So, this isn't my cup of tea, but I'd you are reading this, it probably is yours.

We were scammed by their “Sales Manager” Luis Felipe who promised us that with purchasing a “Premier Membership” for $10k+ we would be given 2 “free” vacations, 1 of which we could use to travel to any hotel or resort around the world, we questioned him multiple times on this and he assured us that it was true and real. He also promised us being able to book an 8 day, 7 night hotel or resort stay with their vacation partner “Beyond” at any hotel or resort around the world (120 days worth of these 1 week stays for the package he sold us) for $10k+. We ended up putting a $3k+ deposit down to start the membership. 1 month later we tried to book the 1 week free vacation he “gifted” us for signing up and we uncovered what is an absolute scam of a membership. It is a simple time share scheme (scam) and nothing like what he told and promised us it would be. We made it absolutely clear we wanted nothing to do with anything like a time share scheme. We were outright lied to and after weeks of trying to communicate this with him and other Premier staff in different departments they have taken zero accountability for their actions and continue to be silent on my request for a refund and to cancel my membership. Premier… do the right thing and give us our money back for selling us a lie. Future potential Premier Members… you have been warned, these are absolute scam artists and you won’t know it until it’s too late. The moment you hear anything about a Premier Membership offer… run! Extremely unfortunate because we genuinely enjoyed our first vacation there, after this though, we will never set foot in Temptations or their Desire resorts ever again. Bad business karma is on its way… Attaching screenshots of communications for proof of the above.

A little background…my gf and I decided in the beginning of the year to make a trip to Cancun. We originally decided on another higher end hotel in the zone. We heard about TTR and specifically the Boobs Cruise, and after reading up etc we decided to split up the vacation, staying a couple nights at TTR and finishing up at our other resort.||||So a quick hop on the web and I ended up on temptations-Cancun.com which I assumed after chatting with them online that they were the actual hotel. At no point did these grifters say they were not the hotel, and quasi represented that they were the real deal. We tried to confirm the reservations, and once we called the hotel they had no reservations with the “confirmation” number the website emailed me, nor by looking up my name. I tried to cancel and just book directly with the hotel like I had thought I did the first time. No dice, because they are not the real TTR (they are a reseller) it was a $500 fee to cancel. After some back and forth with them and the hotel, I was able to confirm from TTR that they are allowed to resell and set their own rates/fees.||||The hotel check-in-||||Finally the trip was here and after we landed we took a USA Transfer to TTR. Once there we were ushered into the Premier Check-in, since we had a referral (more on that later). We got seated and was informed that since we were part of the referral, we were getting access to all the premiere level add-ons.||||The room-||||How to describe this….small, cheap and overall not good especially based on price. They def use some selective camera angles in the room. It was run down, there was sand all over the floor in the bathroom, and the windows and patio were filthy. The TV would randomly turn on at night and we had a lovely view of a wall and some AC units. Come to find out later on we were supposed to get an ocean view room but they declined to give us that since we didn’t sign up for the membership.||||The Sexy Pool-||||This is what every review mentioned, this was supposed to be the high light of the resort. My GF slipped into her thong swimsuit, and we headed down to the pool. Since we had premier we got to go into the private lounge area, which seemed silly since there were tons of open chairs right next to pool edge for any level to use. The premier bar was limited on drinks so we ended up using the main bar and the swim up bar. The drinks were weak at best, so you def need to get one after another. I’m not a shot guy so we stuck to the mixed drinks. I also completely get that this a AI place so the drinks are not gonna be long pours. Def not a deal breaker.||||The Resturants-||||We ate at the Italian restaurant the first night. The food was decent, not mind blowing but def had some good flavor. However when we sat down the waiter asked if we wanted any drinks, any sodas, or if we wanted wine. My GF order some rose wine and we ate and left. Come to find out later that they charged us $90US for that wine, and at no point did they mention there were up charges for anything. It’s not even about the price, it’s about us not knowing the “Rules” of the upcharge.||||The Referral Meeting-||||What a sh!t show, we were told it would be 90 mins tops, and that they would look into the wine since we were prospective memebers (spoiler alert! they didn’t fix it because we didn’t sign). Anyways on to the meeting. We were assigned a very nice man who took us down to breakfast to get the paperwork started. He kept asking if we wanted mimosas, we declined but I knew the way this was going. We talked a bit and he filled out paperwork, and took us on a tour. We checked out the top floor suite, with a massive balcony, a stripper pole, and multi rooms which all looked very nice. Another group of men were getting the tour but they were doing shots, and their host was on the pole. So it’s safe to assume they probably signed up (saw their host coming out of their hotel room a few hours later) 😉||||We were brought into another room where all the sales managers were. It felt like we were buying a used car, they all perked up when we walked in. They sat us down and brought over the numbers lady. She pulled out a note pad and started drawing lines and number and honestly it kept feeling like we’re buying a used car. After awhile I told them to stop and just break the days down into a single person day cost, because they want to think you get a week in Maui for $495, but it’s that plus they day prepaid days from you, so depending on the size of the room it might be 7-21 nights plus $495.||||We declined and they brought in the final boss, who tried to tell me I wasting their time and said if was serious I would buy a weeks worth and come back and talk to him. We declined again and they just got up and walked away angry.||||Cabana Rental-||||We decided to check out the cabana rentals. We settled on a bottle, and they said they would text us when it was ready. We got the text, we let them know we were on our way, and they said they would have it ready for us. When we got there the cabana wasn’t ready, we asked about it and no one seemed to know what we were talking about. After about 30 mins we just sat down on the one we thought was the right one, and after about 15 mins later our cabana assistant showed up. He said no worries he would take care of us all day. He was so slow we had to go get our own drinks/waters. Not the service you would expect for $325. He came back maybe 3 times to check on us and seemed more interested in talking to women in the pool than check on us.||||The Party Makers-||||They seemed like they were a mixture of bored and just going through the motions. They would do some games which were kinda fun to watch, but the vibe is def “high school spring break” they love saying words for shock value. I heard the saying “see you later m@sterbator” at least 6 times. The crowd seemed on a smaller side so maybe it’s better when they have more people getting involved.||||"She" Restaurant-||||This was the silliest “adult” show I’ve ever seen. To start they only have limited reservations unless you want to pay for the upgraded show experience. So we were put in the back, and then the show started. It’s 2 men and 2 women dancing, and attempting to be seductive. The bad part was could seem them counting steps, because the entire show is choreographed, so they were literally counting steps with their mouths and taking to each other about where to put hands, feet etc. We spoke with another couple and the first thing they mentioned after the show was why the heck were they mouthing the steps the entire show.||||The Bash Nightclub-||||This was odd to say the least. It was a mixture of about 50/50 people dressed for theme night and just normal clothing. The DJ was terrible! He would have a bunch of people dancing and then just randomly switch songs and the crowd would kinda stand there and then get off the stage. We heard multiple people complaining about the same thing. It’s like he wasn’t even watching the crowds at all and just doing whatever he wanted.||||Conclusion-||||This hotel def tried to gear towards adults, but does it with a weird high school energy of a kid who just saw his first boobs. There is a swing vibe but not in your face, for the most part it seemed like everyone is respectful of others. We only witnessed 2 times were someone was out of line, but nothing came of it. There is a def a money grab vibe, whether it’s constant hitting up guests to buy massages, or photo shoots, but when you are just wanting to sit by the pool and relax having to tell them for the 10th time you don’t want anything, it got old.||||Would we go back? Probably not, the other resort we finished our trip with was sooo much nicer, in terms of room size, cost, food, etc. The only thing TTR had was a topless pool, but it’s not...

My best friend and I have been going to temptation almost every year for the past 5 years. This time we finally were provided we two exceptional butlers, Ivan and Shadia. I don’t even know where to start… they were attentive, professional and kept us well informed of the day to day activities. They both made sure all of our dinner reservations were reserved and assisted any time when we were pool side. All the other butlers need to take a course from Shadia and Ivan to learn more about the premier experience and how to provide excellent customer service. I would recommend all current and new butlers be trained and retrained by Ivan and Shadia. I have no complaints against Ivan and Shadia and we were so thankful to have them as our butlers.||First bad encounter. On the other hand I did encounter some racism and unprofessional treatment from some of the staff that worked there which never happened before. I totally understand that you can be tired and that your job can be stressful but at the same breath you can’t say “it’s my pleasure” and behave the way that you do. On September 14, by the pool, by the stand where they are serving fries, burgers, sushi and pizza, I went there to get fries and the lady advised that it was not done yet. I said no problem and said I would be back and proceeded to the bathroom. When I arrived back, I made eye contact with the lady that was behind the counter to let her know I was back. The lady never acknowledged me and continue to serve and communicated with the Spanish speaking customers. Despite that I advised the lady that I was back and asked for my fries and she ignored me again and continued to serve and communicate with the Spanish speaking customers. This was reported to my butler, Shadia, who escalated this matter to a manager. The manager advised that he has received complaints regarding the same individual and advised us that it would be assessed and brought us fresh French fries. At that point I didn’t felt it was a race manner until the behavior confirmed with other staff members as well.||Second bad encounter. My best friend and I were on the 7th flower at the tower. When we found a table it was dirty and I saw that the lady who was there was busy so I asked the bartender for a rag to wipe off the table. He said no and said that the lady would be around to wipe off the table and the chair as they were both dirty. The lady then came around and we asked her to wipe off the table and she said she would be back. We then see her go into the kitchen bring out food for someone else, then assisted other customers who just arrived. We called her again and she had an Attitide and said we needed to be patient. Again, second incident where they are being more attentive and communicating with the Spanish customers over other races.||Third encounter happened on our last night. We had dinner reservations at flame for 8 pm on 9/15. We forgot our premier card to get a lobster and steak dinner and PAMELA told us that we had to go and get it, which is understandable, however we advised Pamela that our room was on 6th floor and it just rained very badly so the elevator was not working and we could provide it later. She basically said in other words that there was nothing she can do about that and if we would like that type of dinner we would have to take the stairs all the way to the 6th floor. Pamela had a nasty attitude and was very unprofessional. We seeked assistance from our Butler Ivan who was kind enough to retrieve the voucher but also advised us that one of the elevators were working. THANK GOD FOR IVAN AND SHADIA. The best butlers temptation ever hired!! Also I don’t think it’s a good idea to have the butlers that have to walk inside and outside all day to wear high heel shoes, this poses a safety risk. They look good wearing heels but at what cost if they slip by the pool area checking on guest.||Didier was also an excellent water and the hookah ladies were very professional but need to walk around more because we allays had to ask someone to find them. Lili by the pool area was very nice and Daniel by the pool area was always there If I had...
