We ate at the Burning Burrito on three separate occasions during our seven day stay in Puerto Vallarta. It was about a three minute walk from our stay at the Molino de Agua. The staff was always very friendly and helped us with our order on our first visit. We ordered burritos on each visit so knew exactly what to do after our first visit. The burritos were huge and they tasted great. The burritos range in price from 115-185 pesos. My wife had the veggie burrito all three times and loved it. I had the steak burrito twice and the breakfast burrito once…both were terrific. The ordering process for the burritos is quite simple. They give you a “Create Your Own Burrito” sheet (see image) with all of the burrito options…you mark the meat that you want, the sauces, the vegetables, etc. Give them the sheet back and sit and wait about 7-10 minutes. We did carry out all three times that we ate here. They did have 4-5 tables if you wanted to eat inside. I am pretty sure they are cash only as someone finishing their meal while we were waiting had to make a quick run to the ATM for cash. There is an ATM machine right...

Saw some posts about this place so stopped in to try today. Was given a paper menu and checked off all the boxes of what I wanted in my burrito, starting with a protein, then veggies, sauces, and other items. Was not expecting ring such a flavorful burrito to come back, it was amazing! Will definitely be going back and have it on my rotation going forward.

Stopped in again for like the 10th time now, however for the first time had the breakfast burrito and my gawd this thing is awesome! Washed it down with an oversized strawberry lemonade with fresh berries and lots of vodka and it was a perfect lunch for only $250 pesos. Was told happy hour is something 3:00-7:00 so will coming back for that because the drinks are really great too.

Back again, twice this trip, and brought my dad this time. Everything is still on point and place is awesome as usual. My dad loved the burrito, one of the best he has had, and the color rojo is gigantic! See you again...

If you’re looking for a breakfast burrito with tons of options, this is the spot! My crew was craving breakfast burritos and after comparing menus, we chose Burning Burrito due to the customizable options. Glad we did because it was easily my favorite meal of our trip.

We were the only guests in the venue at the time of arrival (around 11:30am) and we probably would prioritize going earlier to avoid the heat next time. The venue is open to the sidewalk and while the fans inside were great, we felt the heat was a little trapped in the space. But nothing a few cold beers didn’t help us get past.

Will absolutely return. Bonus points for the adorable chihuahua sleeping...

Without a doubt our favourite restaurant we’ve been to on our vacation! We’ve come back every single day without fail. The service is fantastic and friendly. The space is intimate, so we made a few friends with other locals, vacationers, and the staff while enjoying the stellar music. The food was sooo flavourful! Our favourites were the build your own burrito with an order of guacamole and chips. It’s also all so incredibly affordable! The burrito was super easy to order as they give you a little pen and paper to tick the box of each ingredient you want in it. Perfect for when your Spanish isn’t great haha. Their drinks are 10/10! Best margaritas and smoothies you can find! ✅
