Thai has been one of my most favored food life experiences. I’ve been privileged to try restaurants around the world, as well as home cooked meals with Thai families. The Siam Cocina, Thai Restaurant in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico is by far, THE WORST self proclaimed Thai Food that I have ever experienced. Allow me to give you the breakdown and personal comparisons. First up, The fried “Spring Rolls”. Siam Cocina’s Spring Rolls taste as though they were purchased at the local grocery store’s frozen food section, thrown into the microwave and served. Next up is the Tom Kah soup. My most favorite of all the Thai Cuisines. Siam Cocina’s Tom Kah Soup broth tastes as though they watered down the coconut milk and added table sugar. The chicken chunks and mushrooms had that “straight out of a can” without even draining the water taste and dumped into dishwater that they refer to as soup broth. This also seems to coincide with my opening line in reference to this soupy soup. 😆 Lastly, Thai Chicken Wings. The wings themselves were in comparison to the pre-cooked inexpensive ones you can buy at any grocery store’s frozen food section. The advertised “Thai wing Sauce” was nothing more than Sriracha Ketchup. After they toss these bagged frozen wings in Sriracha Ketchup, they are then topped with sliced green onion for appearance and hopes to fool your taste buds from thinking, “ Is this Sriracha Ketchup ? “ To wrap this up, I was finished with the refreshing thirst quenching drink of gritty Tap water with a tasteful hint of local dirt. Nothing Else Follows. Q: Anything to say positive? A: The pictures look great, wait staff very polite and hey, the prices were fair.

The servers were attentive, the ambience was great and a nice scoop of ice cream for our birthday boy with a candle. The food was pretty good! Our family of 4 had 3 kinds of appetizers (Squid, chicken wings, egg rolls), 2 drinks (Passion fruit & Thai Iced tea) and 4 main dishes. Our little kids liked the spicy scale, just right. Red curry chicken w/ coconut rice Pepper Beef w/ coconut rice Basic Ground chicken w/ coconut rice (Our favorite here!) Pineapple Fried rice with chicken (also our favorite but needs more pineapple flavor, had a lot of chicken chunk which was overpowering the rice and pineapple flavor.) Why 4 star? The red curry was just not authentic tasting and not swimming in sauce. Needs more red curry and smaller slices of veggies. The flavor was lacking, the veggies were chunky, cubed (broccoli, red bell pepper, cauliflower, etc). But the coconut rice was flavored subtly with a little sweetness. Perfect! The pepper beef was a bit hard and chewy but very flavorful and not that spicy. The sauce was runny and quite a bit of soy sauce. Pretty good! But all in all - it was very good as long as you know what to expect. Service was plentiful, manager was attentive, most of the food was good. Ambience is also great.

I believe in integrity as a customer and with my reviews. This review is horrible because what we got was horrible. We ordered food from them on Uber eats. It was almost $1,300 pesos for a five dishes that were big enough that it could have served maybe two people total. The potstickers which were about 120 pesos each had four small wontons per order. They forgot to send us our spring rolls. The chicken brusquet was four soggy, small pieces of chicken per 1-cup container. The sweet and sour tofu had a sauce that was liquid instead of being actual sweet and sour sauce and was also small, about 1 measured cup in size. The crispy noodles were about the same size, 1 cup, and okay but not crispy. The fried rice was decent in size (about 1.5 pints) and flavor, but it was the only decent thing in the order; overall, the orders were extremely small and the quality was bad. It didn't come with silverware or napkins which we asked for. I have never given a one-star rating in this town for the two years that I've lived here this time, but this place ate the cake. I'm never going to eat here, nor order anything from them again. Incredibly disappointed in the fact that we had to pay 1300 pesos for such garbage.

4 for the food But 0 for the service! !!

Went Saturday there .great Thai food.tasty autenthic that flavour. We had different padthai I had lemongrass curry.excelent. BUT SERVICE WAS VERY BAD. That s sad . Not friendly. Even rude.

They even took off the dish of one of us without asking if was finished. And it wasn't finished. Who do that! !

They reacted and bring again the dish. But we were furious. Sad that the service was so bad cause food was great. Hope they ll learn and do better service

After they answer of the owner

First .Michael thanks to answer me.

We feel since the begining that somerhing was wrong. Wasnt the first time for our friends to eat at Siam.and they directly feel a bad ambient from your staff.

My wife and i had no problem to put our face mask we put it all the time. She didnt wave for her dish but for the water the waiter served. We didnt talk Bad to your staff. just told them that it's not things to do to take out plate like this.

We thanks when they bring back the plate. It was the minimum they could do.

We Even leave a tip Even if your staff thought we won't leave one .and it's for that they didnt answered us when we said goodbye. So My review

We live here and i know your restaurants. I had Good time at Bravos.but Friends told us too that saturday there. the service was very Bad and rude.

I ll go back to your places cause food was good. Hope it was a bad day for your staff and next time service ll...
