The restaurant is off the beaten path, away from the flashy tourist spots. Authentic Mexican and local favorites

This is a small restaurant, always packed with mostly locals. As you walk in, you feel at home with beautiful paintings and hanging plants.

We went in for a late breakfast and enjoyed eggs, beans, and pancakes with fresh fruits and freshly squeezed OJ. The food is well prepared and seasoned well. I also ordered the Menudo, a weekend-only special. The house-made fresh salsa and pico de gallo are excellent. The Menudo is packed, meaty, and delicious. Portion size is perfect for sharing.

The service is friendly and warm, very efficient. The food came out promptly. The price is affordable. Do not miss this place when...

My favorite spot in Puerto Vallarta for breakfast. I've been visiting PV for over 20 years. I feel like such a fool that I finally tried Dianita's about two years ago. No need to look at the menu. CHILAQUILES is the only item you need to know. I have tried chilaquiles all over PV. Dianita's is the hands down winner. It's such a simple dish but Dianita's has perfected it! I will also add that my partner is a huge fan of their menudo. Keep in mind, the menudo is only available Saturday and Sunday. Dianita's is a cute little place with a great staff, from the owner to the wait staff, excellent food & and very reasonable prices!!! HASTA...

Small restaurant with cheap, yet delicious, homemade food. They serve breakfast and lunch. Everyday the menu changes also known as comida corrida. Breakfast options included: fruit with yogurt granola, pancakes, chilaquiles, omelettes, eggs with beans and menudo on weekends. Lunch options when I visited was: a choice of a cup of soup/pasta, then a plate option of the day specials served with tortillas and a pitcher of drink for the day such as cucumber water. They even offered vegan option or seafood if preferable. You will find both locals and tourists...
