UPDATE Returned today and not impressed that the server thought she should decide her tip. Should have brought back all my change back and you would have gotten more. Oh well your loss. I’m not a tourist, I live here. Been in several times now. Kind of disappointed after today.

An amazing lunch! We went on Friday 25MAR22, the food and service was outstanding. Vanessa was one of the best servers I’ve ever had. She gave great recommendations and also properly advised on on portion size after seeing what we were looking at ordering. Nothing was wasted and we left super full! The Best restaurant of Mexican food in Puerto Vallarta....local cuisine... great selections of beers and ... Is in a ancient bullring... So you have the chance to get some nice pictures there too... The server were very nice and service is just fantastic... The open from noon till 10 pm... And the prices are super cheap....you won't regret it... Suggestions... Aguachile (ordered without Chile if you don't like spicy and if you like mild or regular.... Picante is.for professionals only ) and also the chicharrón the pescado...

Fui por recomendación de mi mamá, que había ido previamente con una amiga de ella. La verdad es que el lugar es muy agradable, tiene buena ventilación, por lo que no se extraña el aire acondicionado. El servicio es muy rápido y amable. De entrada nos llevaron una tostada en cortesía de Marlin y una de ceviche de pescado, ambas estaban muy ricas. Desafortunadamente lo que yo pedí (camarones al mojo de ajo sin cáscara) estaba sobrecocido y excesivamente salado. Por más limón que le puse estaba demasiado salado. Le comentamos a la chica que nos atendía y se llevó el plato para que ‘rebajaran’ lo salado. Lo que hicieron fue quitarle el mojo de ajo y cambiarlo de plato y cocinarlo más. Así que quedó más cocido y aún más concentrado el sabor. La verdad lo he comido porque ya moría de hambre, pero estaba muy feo eso. Mi mamá y mi hijo comieron chicharrón de pescado y me han dicho que estaba muy rico al igual que los frijolitos refritos con los que lo acompañan. Tal vez fue solo que tuve mala suerte con el plato que elegí y que se les pasó de sal, por eso es que regresaré nuevamente para quitarme la mala impresión. No les doy por el momento 4 estrellas, porque no supieron cómo resolver desde el inicio. Si ya había comentado que el plato estaba muy salado y ellos sabían que no tenían forma de quitarle lo salado más que volviendo a hacer el platillo, lo hubieran hecho antes que dejar que un cliente se vaya con un mal sabor de boca por entregarle el mismo platillo igual o más salado en un plato diferente.
