I have to give this place a solid 4 stars because the food was absolutely outstanding! While they didn't have the Tacos de Lengua I was initially craving, I decided to give their menudo and mulitas a try. The mulitas were good, though not mind-blowing—I've had better in the States, which was unexpected. However, the menudo was a spot-on recreation of my mom's recipe, leaving me thoroughly satisfied. The real star of the show, though, was their quesabirria—it was truly out of this world! Trust me, that's all you need to order!

The service was excellent; the staff seated us promptly. Just keep in mind that they only accept cash, so make sure to bring enough. We had to make a quick cash run before indulging in their delicious fare!

In terms of ambiance, it's an open concept, which can be a bit uncomfortable in the scorching Cabo heat, especially when combined with the heat from the cooking fires. Plus, the abundance of flies and the seemingly less-than-sanitary conditions might be off-putting to some. However, if you can look past these minor inconveniences (it is Cabo, after all), you'll be rewarded with phenomenal food.

If the picture I portrayed doesn't appeal to you, then this might not be a place you want to visit. However, they do offer delivery, which might be a more comfortable...

A FOODIE’S GEM OF A COMIDA MEXICANA 😎😎😎. Absolutely fabulous home cooking. The vast majority of customers are locals.

THIS IS PLACE TO FEEL AND TASTE THE LOCAL CULINARY CULTURE👍👍👍👍👍. It’s very unassuming, simple plain eatery. Sit where there’s a chair available.

The menu is as simple it can get: 7 meat tacos traditional quesabirria menudo (blanco or rojo) birria desayuno (simple breakfast)

All the tacos are extraordinary 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩. *Though I’m most partial to the Lengua (ox tongue), Cabeza, and Pastor.

Tacos come with meat consommé WOW😎

Garnishes are supplied, to be added to one’s cooking content.

  • Menudo Rojo con Pata 🤩🤩🤩. Exquisitely delicious stew of beef ofal and ox foot. The gelatinous texture reflects a very long braise.

Garnish with spoonfuls of cilantro to ump the flavor.

Comes with fresh corn tortillas.

Looks like it is served only until noon. I had to return another day to savor it.😎😎😎😎

*Birria🤩🤩🤩. Another traditional stew of mix meats (lamb, beef and pork), spiced up.

Add spoonfuls of cilantro and fresh raw onions umps the flavor.

Comes with tortillas.

Service...

YOU NEED TO EAT HERE while in Mexico!!! Make it a top priority on your itinerary. Seriously! It cannot get any more authentic than this place; the food, the table setting, and atmosphere is exactly what I was craving. It’s a no frills Birrieria with ALL OF THE FLAVOUR!! We’ve tried most of the menu and it all tastes like a warm hug. We specifically couldn’t stop thinking about their Quesabirria Con Consome. I’ve tested many consome recipes and theirs truly stands out to the point where we were treating it as soup! You know it’s gonna be the best food ever when they make the tortillas fresh in front of you. The staff works together like an incredible team and I absolutely love the busy atmosphere of this location! No matter how full the place is, the waitresses are always making sure you’re taken care of. All around a classic place for both locals and tourists...

Hands down the best tacos in Cabo. This is a proper little hole in the wall and it is amazing. There’s a simple menu that’s executed well. This place specialises in Birria, with massive pots of the stuff continuously bubbling away in the kitchen. You might walk past this place and this it’s a little rough around the end he’s, but it’s definitely worth stopping in. Each meal comes with a complimentary little bowl of Birria brother which is amazing and just the right kind of spicey! Their chilli sauce on the other hand blew my head off! In a good way? Defs not for the faint hearted. Absolutely go here if you can it’s the best
