Cambalache is always a great option for those searching for some good steak 🥩 There are many options to choose from and the empanadas are a great starter for the great meal you're going to have, the Meat Empanada is my recommendation for everyone!

The octopus salad is great and I'm not even a huge octopus fan so if you like it it's probably going to be awesome!

The lamb tacos are delicious and the meat's texture is incredible, it melts in your mouth.

And for the available meat cuts, like I said, there are many options, you can go for the Arrachera, Rib Eye, anyone! I haven't been disappointed here and if you love a good meat, you won't be either.

The service has always been fast although, to be honest, I've visited only when the restaurant is fairly empty so I don't know how fast it would be when it's the busiest.

Overall, one of the top choices available, it's always a good day when we...

Our dinner at Cambalache started off well with the Potato Soufflé, nicely prepared and presented. For mains, we shared a ribeye steak, which was just okay—the method of partially cooking then finishing on a plancha led to uneven doneness and lacked a proper sear. Unfortunately, the Argentinian-style ribs also missed the mark; they were tougher than expected, under-seasoned, and didn't capture the authentic Argentine flavor I was hoping for.

The dessert sampler was delightful and allowed us to taste a variety of treats, ending our meal on a positive note.

Overall, the ambiance and service were excellent, but the dishes didn't distinguish Cambalache enough from other steakhouses. With a bit more Argentine flair and attention to detail in cooking, it could...

Went for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Got there somewhat early, before the crowd so we were able to get the table we wanted, by the window, where there was more light; in fact most of the table inside were dark and we wanted to enjoy the good sunny day. We didn't go to the terrace because it was a smoking area. Due to our early arrival, there were many waiters idle, so were attended by an army of people - everyone was super nice and courteous, borderline too much attention... We stuffed our face with food. For starters, the empanadas were delicious (we had 3 different types), so was the soup of the day. As main course we had "tacos de lechon". The meat had been slowly cooked for 6 hours, so it was very...

Nice atmosphere. Food was good. A little bit pricey but it's understandable as we're in Polanco. I had the Cambalache's chicken and it was really tasty. The meat was well cooked and very tender. Quantity was very good too. Around 400 grams or more. Accompanied with some salad and lemon dressing. We had a delicious Argentinean white wine, a chardonnay which was sweet but not too much. My friend had some raviolis fulfilled with spinach and chicken accompanied with tomato sauce. We ordered some guacamole too to share and the quantity was good. Here some photos of our food and the place. I would recommend that place if you're thinking to have dinner or lunch in Masaryk Avenue.

I wanted to eat good meat, which anyway is very good in Mexico, and the hotel concierge recommended the Cambalache restaurant. It is located at the popular Masaryk street in Polanco having 2 floors of an old house, is an Argentinean grill. The menu is a large poster that is brought to the table (see image). The meat is excellent, they bring it from Omaha-Nebraska (which is known as the place of prime beaf). Once the meat arrives to Mexico is dry aged for 20 days. I had the typical Argentinean Vacio, which I hadn’t tasted a beaf as good as this one in a long time. Service is excellent, I just raised my eyes and had two waiter in a second in front of my table.
