We were excited to try this sushi spot after hearing a sister restaurant had opened in Los Angeles (which is Home for us). We made a reservation to be seated at the bar. Got there about 10mins early to an empty bar only to be told that we should sit outside; that the bar was fully reserved. There were only 2 women sitting at the bar - the rest was empty. We let them know that we had reserved 2 spots at the bar; after a lot of back and forth they let us sit at the bar only for one of the servers to come up to us and show us a message translated to " we need to leave by 8pm"! What a ridiculous welcome! Having said that, the food was tasty, the sashimi pieces that we ordered were on point and on par with sushi i've eaten at other mid level sushi spots. (i ordered the set menu). I would give 5 stars to the chefs (they paid close attention to my shrimp allergy and stopped cleaning the shrimp outside once we mentioned I was allergic- which was amazing!) for great flavors and working hard and 0 stars for servers and the person who sat us down for his subpar service! This was our last meal during our travels to CDMX and was the most disappointed! I will not be going to their sister restaurant in Los Angeles after this terrible service! After we left we got tacos elsewhere where we were treated much better...

Delicious and fresh hand rolls. We ordered the O’toro, Ebi tempura and Hamachi. The O’toro and Ebi were both delicious and unique on their own. The Hamachi was also delicious but did not need the truffle sauce that accompanied it. The truly odd part about this restaurant was the service. Everyone seemed bored and not truly into the making of their sushi. Our waiter was odd and seemed to not be thrilled with our order? And he rushed us to order a drink before we had a chance to look at the menu. And then it got weirder. The restaurant (we sat at the bar) started getting full but across from us sat a couple that only ordered water and kept taking significant time in the bathroom. They seemed to know the owner or manager who also kept running his fingers on the entire length of the bar. Then our waiter tried rushing us to the bill and rushing us to pay. Overall an odd experience but the...

Fantastic place to start your night with a hand roll or two and a some cocktails. The prices are on par with decent places to dine/drink in major US-cities but does not reflect average prices per CDMX. That said, the waiter seated us after only waiting a couple of minutes. The music was amazing (as a Chicagoan, house music runs in my veins). The only comment I have is the drug usage that was happening in the only bathroom available. Not judging, but it raised my eyebrows when a couple girls flapped around an eight ball before heading in with a...

Seated right away before 6pm on a Saturday with the option of bar or table seating. Fish was fresh enough. Wish the nori was crispier but it cleansed the palate from the taco tour. Eduardo was so kind. I regrettably did not like the mezcal cocktail he suggested when I was asking for a spicy cocktail (it was too sweet), and he was very accommodating replacing it w a tequila soda. We ordered: 5 handrolls 4 pieces of nigiri 1 amberjack carpaccio 1 beer 1 cocktail 1 bottle of water And our total was about $100 USD.
