BIG DISAPPOINTMENT after big expectations!
Having a huge interest in gastronomy, I like to review many restaurants around the world and rarely give one star, but here I feel I should give none. The place has a nice interior, but that's about it. The guacamole had fishy taste in it (likely contaminated during preparation), and tasted very bland - no hint of lime, garlic, cilantro, and no salt. The ceviche was made with tilapia: tilapia is a freshwater fish, it often has a muddy taste, and this was no exception. The lime potatoes were well cooked (similar to papas arrugadas in Canary Islands), but the taste of lime and soy sauce didn't mix well, also because the soy sauce was sweet and of extremely poor quality. Red wine I ordered was a cheap kind (such wine shouldn't be on the menu in a place like this). But the worst thing happened when the bill came. All items on the bill were about 20% higher. The manager came with a very confusing explanation that the menu we were given was old; why this was not explained to us after we sat down, he couldn't say. He didn't offer to adjust the prices to the menu from which we had ordered. Such arrogance is simply not acceptable in any place that wants to value its clients, especially during covid time. Period. Btw, I speak excellent Spanish, so nothing could have been 'lost in translation'. The conclusion: NOT recommended, by a...
Read moreIf you’re looking for a bar with a killer outdoor patio and fabulous drinks, look no further! My husband and I stopped by this afternoon and we couldn’t have been happier with the experience. The ambiance is perfect – cute patio, beautiful plants, natural light, and an all-around great vibe. It’s the kind of spot that makes you want to stay for “just one more drink.”
Speaking of drinks, the margaritas and mezcalaritas here are amazing! You can tell the bartenders know what they’re doing, blending flavors to perfection with that perfect balance of tequila or mezcal and fresh ingredients. Each sip was a treat.
A special shoutout to our server, Kimberly, who made our day even better. She was super friendly, incredibly attentive, and on top of everything we needed. She made sure our drinks were always fresh, and her positive energy added so much to our experience.
Highly recommend this spot if you’re in the mood for great drinks, an inviting patio, and wonderful service. We’ll...
Read moreLoved the place, the atmosphere, and the cocktails. However, the service was really mediocre. I had to give them only a 10% tip (I only do it in extreme cases). The waiters weren’t attentive, you had to ask them everything at least twice, and we had to wait more than 30 minutes to pay. Oh we then discovered that they had charged us an extra order of tostadas ($180). In addition, the bathroom was pretty disgusting by the end of the night. It didn’t even have toilet paper or paper towels. If you come, just take into account that you will have to wait a looong time for everything. Make sure you try the Hoja Santa cocktail with mezcal! The guacamole is also very good. It’s a good place for groups in terms of the space. So it’s a pity that the...
