I recently had the pleasure of dining at TaquerĂa Gabriel, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. As soon as I walked in, I was struck by the warm and inviting ambiance of the restaurant. The layout was well thought out, with comfortable seating and tasteful decor that contributed to the overall welcoming atmosphere.

The menu had an excellent selection of traditional Mexican dishes, but what stood out to me the most was the delicious starter that we had. It was the perfect way to start our meal, and we were all looking forward to what was to come next.

The restaurant was immaculately clean, indicating a high level of attention to detail and hygiene. And what impressed me the most was the fast and efficient service. We were a group of around 10 people, and they managed to serve us all at the same time. It was impressive how the food came out piping hot, fresh, and well-presented, with each dish having its own unique flavor and aroma.

The customer service was outstanding, with friendly and attentive staff who went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was enjoyable. They were knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations, and were always available to answer any questions or concerns we had.

Overall, I highly recommend TaquerĂa Gabriel to anyone who is looking for authentic Mexican cuisine and excellent service. It was a memorable dining experience that I won't forget, and I will definitely be...

This is the first time in over 600 reviews that I've left a negative review. I will say that the tacos were very good but the service was abysmal.

On every table there was a sticker saying that there are 2-for-1 al pastor tacos Monday to Thursday 6-8pm (we were there Thursday at 6:45pm). We ordered two pairs of al pastor tacos, pointing at the sticker as we did. At the end of the meal, when our bill arrived, we had been charged full prices for the tacos. On questioning it, our server told us that we didn't explicitly say we wanted the promotion so he hadn't logged it on the computer. Outraged, we argued this point but he said that as the bill had already been printed it could not be modified... Not sure the point of providing a bill if the customer has to pay whatever is on it, regardless of whether it is correct! After some back and forth, the server would not budge so we agreed to just pay the full amount.

Although slightly annoyed, we accepted that it was a relatively small amount of money so decided not to dwell on it. However, we later saw in our banking app that the server had added 10% service to our bill without asking. Obviously after the issue above we hadn't been intending to pay service. What had been a pretty great meal, in terms of the quality of the tacos was completely ruined by this...

Love. Love. Love. The pastor and pollo are my favorite. The pastor is an amazing flavor and the pollo has a chimichurri sauce that will make you write home to your mother. The salsas on the table are also amazing- we’ve tried every single one. I have a gluten allergy and have never had issues with the food here (just make sure to order the corn tortillas). My boyfriend and I are also obsessed with the papas asada on the appetizer menu. We used to order just one to share and now we order two. Service is always quick and the price for what you get can’t be beat. Pro tip: come on a Friday or Saturday night- there will definitely be a wait but because they are so busy making the food as it comes out you get the still-warm freshly made tortillas that is just...

Very average tacos and mediocre service. I really do not get the hype around Taqueria Gabriel. The tacos I ordered here are nothing special and just downright mid. I usually order the al pastor or the trompo de asada, but they are a disappointment. Both types of tacos are often burnt, and the flavor isn’t there. Additionally, they are too greasy for my taste. The service is slow and lacks enthusiasm. The prices are not worth it for the mediocre food you receive. What bothers me the most is that the tacos come out at different times rather than all at once, which isn’t the best experience. There are many better places around the Reforma area that serve much better tacos than Taqueria Gabriel.
