Very refreshing on so many levels! This place has what you need to cool off & rehydrate. Their story struck us as we are from VERMONT where farm to table has been embraced for decades. Several People rode by saying hello to Fem as she is a ray of sunshine! Even if you’re not vegan, you’ll find everything on the menu to be as delightful as Fem is! Welcome to Liefs -Tulum's first Farm to Van concept. We are Thomas & Fem from Amsterdam, where Liefs means Love. Our mission is to popularize plant-based products to normalize conscious consumption. -At a nearby farm we cultivate and curate our conscious comfort cuisine, with local Mayan families. -While psychedelically awakening through many sleepless nights, envisioning how to be the change we'd like to see, we quit our corporate rat-race in Texas to follow our vision to create a kinder world, one meal at a time. -We believe flavor and happiness are key to normalizing conscious consumption. That's why we pack our delicious dishes full of guilt-free flavors that love you back. Definitely a genuine highlight if you are coming through to enjoy real Tulum. Great vibes and you feel the intention of genuinely caring owners believing in a project. Their vegan menu is impeccable. Be prepared that you are in the Caribbean and come willing to experience the beach timing as they lovingly prepare your vegan food. Earth affirming meals over shared tables our Dutch new friends were humane spirited. This couple sharing a table next to us offered to take my photo with the owner as she carried my daughter, when I struggled to take a selfie with a new baby. I was happy to be surrounded by chilled customers and have that friendly atmosphere. The environment is Caribbean town community. The meals are made fresh and from the heart. 💓 I came for a burrito which is not you TexMex supersized but all light and fresh. They also recommended me a protein shake while I waited and it made my day. There was no issue with paying in USD. A gem in Tulum town!

One of the best vegan spots in Tulum. Super cute and cozy VW Kombi converted to a kitchen/bar, nestled under so much greenery - palm trees and vines strung with Edison lights, plenty of seating on the path leading to the beach. Delicious vegan food. The BBQ style 'pulled pork' burger with activated charcoal bun is our favorite. Great portions. Lovely drinks and ambiance! Beautiful owners, a lovely and very genuine, accommodating couple. I am told they grow most of their own produce locally on their farm. It's clear their intentions are pure - to spread love & good health in Tulum with the thoughtfully prepared food at Liefs being their vehicle to do so. It is appreciated. Awesome desserts (banana bread is bomb!) We love the tables under the giant palm trees. Super cute date spot or simply a bite before/after the beach. I return again and again. See you soon Liefs!

One of our favorite vegan restaurants in Tulum! Phenomenal experience! Fem and Thomas (the owners) are such a joy! The food and vibe were wonderful!! We parked on the street; the shade the awning provides in the restaurant makes it cool even when it's scorching hot outside. Thomas offered us complimentary hibiscus lemon ginger shots which were yummy! We had the: •watermelon and pineapple popsicles — so refreshing, natural and sweet! •chips and guacamole— super fresh and the best guac we've had in Tulum! •better than a burger - perfectly balanced flavors, texture of jackfruit is *chef’s kiss*, the potatoes it comes with are really good •brownie— PERFECT! •banana bread — strawberry sauce takes this to another level We just kept adding onto our order recommend, will be coming back!!

After a long day exploring Chichen Itza and swimming in two cenotes, we headed back to Tulum and happened to pass by Liefs. We didn't know much about the place, but it looked inviting, so we decided to park and give it a try. It wasn't until we sat down and looked at the menu that we realized it was a vegan restaurant—not what we expected, but we decided to go with it. We ordered their highly recommended burrito, and even though it didn’t have any meat, I was pleasantly surprised by how flavorful it was. I also really enjoyed the tropical smoothie I ordered. If you’re in the Aldea Zama area and looking for a quick bite—whether you're vegan or just open to trying something new—I definitely suggest stopping by Liefs!

HIGHLY recommend this place for an incredible plant based vegan meal. It's in a super convenient location on the road that leads to the beach with easy parking right out front. There's a really good variety of vegan options from soup, to bowls, to burgers and everything is super flavorful, and made with really clean and quality ingredients (most which the owners grow themselves). It's an adorable spot for some Instagram photo opportunities with a cute outdoor set up. Great food, prices and vibe, and you can't help but feel good about giving your business to owners who have an awesome mission and genuinely care about the environment and animals. This is a must stop if you are in Tulum!
