We took a taxi and asked for a local place and it was what the driver described but everything we ordered was off from any other local place we tried in Mexico. They don't serve alcohol but if you want a beer they will go to the nearest supermarket and get it for you which I found great.

Es un lugar de ambiente familiar, casero, muy rico, todos muy amables y atentos, variedad en el menú, probablemente es diferente a lo largo de la semana, porque los chiles rellenos, solo en viernes, de cuaresma. No cuentan con venta de bebidas alcoholicas, parece como una fondita, un ambiente bastante tranquilo y limpio, no es un lugar lujoso pero si bastante acogedor, se mantienen las puertas cerradas porque tienen encendido el aire acondicionado. Excelente relación sazón-calidad-cantidad- precio, muchas gracias por atender a un par de turistas desorientados y esperamos volver a vernos luego,

The best! Nothing more to be said. Many options on the menu, not pricey, excellent food. Everything was amazing and large portions. I recommend this restaurant most highly. I come to Cozumel quite often as I live in Cancun and I can tell you by experience, this is the best place to eat in...
