This family owned business is phenomenal. It is well off the beaten path meaning outside the tourist district. It is well worth the 10 minute walk if you all looking for great local food. We have been here for 2 days prior to today's visit and all the food we have been eating was catering to the tourist community. If you want great local food this is the spot to eat. I was very happy we found this place. Meanwhile bars and restaurants along the beach they charges as much as in the US but non of their food looked that good, in my opinion. This place was amazing!! If you rent your own vehicle please go try, there was street parking readily available just outside. Very great service, delicious food, tortillas made fresh, authentic Mexican. Have tried dozens of taco places on Cozumel over the past 15 years. I have not found tacos and specifically Sopas like these.

This place is far from the main strip ocean side, small, local, family ran restaurant.

Sometimes theres a little disfunction, but thats expected with a small family run Mexican street restaurant.

If are strait off the cruise ship, stay away, this isn’t a place to serve at your beck and call.

If you love to find and eat at those small and local food places, this is your spot.
