I had the pleasure of visiting Tony-B's Bar during my recent trip to Cozumel, and I have to say, it was an incredible experience. The moment I walked in, I was hit with a buzzing and exhilarating vibe that permeated throughout the bar. The music was lively, and the atmosphere was electric, with locals mingling with tourists and everyone having a great time.
The food at Tony-B's Bar was simply amazing, and it was all prepared by local Mexicans who clearly knew their craft. Everything from the tacos to the burritos was incredibly tasty, and it was clear that only the freshest ingredients were used. The live music, which was also performed by local Mexicans, added to the overall experience, and it was clear that everyone was having a great time.
What impressed me most about Tony-B's Bar was the impeccable service provided by Tony and his staff, including Nita and Anthony. They were all incredibly friendly, and they went out of their way to ensure that everyone had a great time. The upstairs pool table and activities were an added bonus and made the bar exceptional.
In addition to Tony-B's Bar, Tony also has another bar located on the beach-front, which is equally as buzzing and offers great attractions. The food and open bar at this location compared to none, and the atmosphere was just as electric as the first bar.
During my stay in Cozumel, I had the opportunity to stay in one of Tony's apartments, and it was truly incredible. The apartment was well-maintained, and it had all the amenities one would need for self-catering. The large shower room with TV and Sky channels was a great touch, and the outside swimming pool with water fountain was simply beautiful.
The barbecue area with the fish pond filled with Koi fish was a great place to relax and unwind, and the green garden and verdant lawn overlooking the pool made for a great backdrop. The hummingbirds that visited the garden in the early mornings were a sight to behold.
The shops and eateries were within walking distance, and to my surprise, the pharmacy stocked some great snacks and drinks should the shops be closed.
Tony is an incredible host, and his family-run bars and businesses are outstanding. I strongly recommend visiting his bars or staying at one of his apartments as it will be the addition that elevates your visit to Cozumel. The prices were affordable, and the quality of care and service was unparalleled.
In conclusion, my experience at Tony-B's Bar was simply incredible. From the buzzing atmosphere to the amazing food and live music, everything was top-notch. The professionalism and care provided by Tony and his staff were outstanding, and I would highly recommend anyone visiting Cozumel to check out Tony-B's Bar or one of...
Read moreFrom the moment of entrance to leaving, this was a great place to stop for lunch. My husband and I have been coming to Cozumel for 10 years. We discovered this little place just today. With a menu of tacos, salads, and a few other assorted items (along with beer, wine, alcohol) it does a great job. The server, well, everyone actually, was truly nice and welcoming. We ate out back in the open air patio. There are picnic tables and a fun bar area where you could sit on swings! My wine pour was generous and chilled. We ordered an assortment of tacos, along with chips and salsa. The three salsas ranged from mild to hot and were tasty. The tacos were all good, especially drizzled with lime and dipped in the provided sauce. We especially enjoyed the pastor taco and the one from the yucatan. (Im forgetting the word but something like bon chok). A little music was playing and it was a relaxing atmosphere off the busy streets outside. Update: We enjoyed it so much, we went back! Had a great time. David was our waiter and he was AWESOME! Posting more pictures. Sat on the swings too. ...
Read moreWe came to this place because we heard some nice live grunge music another day. The top floor was a really nice, relaxing bar where you can play pool & darts while having some beer. The guy in the bar was very friendly. Unfortunately we didnt feel the same with the ground floor. The people were also very friendly but the drinks was the worst ever I’be had my whole life!!!!!!! Never before that I could hardly sip a cocktail drink! I looove margarita, especially with mezcal and we ordered it. It tasted like soap so much I felt I was gonna get sick when I tasted it! We saw the guy behind the bar poured orange juice into the glass inwhich it shouldn’t belong to in the first place. Perhaps they didnt wash the glass properly. On top of that they charged us 150 MXN/glass for this soap!!! So come to the place if you drink bottled beer. Otherwise be prepared for drinks that tasted like poison!!!! Absolutely...
