Honestly, Wet Wendy's is the first thing we mention when we talk about our trip to Cozumel - it wouldn't have been the same experience without this place! I lost count of how many times we went here, but the margaritas were fab, although I preferred the normal over the frozen ones. They had some interesting flavour combinations, so it's worth having a few! The food menu is also great; the jalapeno poppers were simply to die for! Overall the ambience and service was great, as was the entertainment - they had one night when there were some great dancers (from the audience) out on the floor. During the quieter hours (early evening), it's the best time to go sit at the counter and try a few snacks/drinks before it fills up! If I ever go back to Cozumel, Wet Wendy's will definitely be the first stop!

Wet Wendy's is in the heart of downtown Cozumel. You won't have a beach view. But you will get cold drinks at a reasonable rate. Much cheaper than the rates at the cruise terminal. The atmosphere is tropical and laid back. Only outdoor seating with thatch roofs and umbrellas. If you're looking for a great place to sit and relax to take a break from shopping downtown, this is it. The bathrooms could use some work, and the grounds could be cleaner, but overall Wet Wendy's is fun and should be included on your list of places to stop while in Cozumel Mexico.

We stumbled upon Wet Wendy’s after walking in Havana Bob’s Cigars next door. We asked if there was any good authentic Mexican food near by and he said “right next door.” We were not at all disappointed. The margaritas are massive and come in so many different flavors it’s hard to choose. The Rajas Chicken Tacos were insanely good, and if I wasn’t so full I would’ve ordered more of them. Mexican food in the US is ruined for me now, but I think that’s a good thing. We will definitely be back whenever we are in Cozumel.

Really good. This place knows its targeting foreign tourists, but honestly its really pleasant to visit even if you’re not one. The place is like a big open “square” with no roof for the most part, and down the end of the place theres a palapa with more tables underneath it. The kitchen is to one side, there’s a couple businesses which seem partially incorporated into the place on the sides as well, a “bar” on the entrance and a flagpole in the middle of everything. The food is honestly really good for the most part, i ordered buffalo fried chicken sliders and a chicken burrito and they’re probably the best I’ve had here in Cozumel. The burrito tastes like it actually has some thought on the ingredients and has quality things inside of it, like if you’re actually kind of getting the value on the $250MXN you pay for it, because of course, its a place targeting foreign tourists that are willing to pay at US-standard rates… but there’s some other places that also target foreign tourists and that benefit from being in good locations here that also charge that much that serve the most lame, americanized and boring Mexican food i can imagine, so i guess this one outperforms just a bit in that regard. I honestly don’t really like drinking alcohol but i can tell their margaritas are really good, their frozen drinks in general are really good, possibly amongst the best margaritas and frozen drinks in Cozumel. The costumer service is fine. Nothing really worth mentioning, its really average and just what you expect. They play live music sometimes and it’s actually amazing too, the time i went there there was a group of young men that went on stage and they were really good and friendly. In the background of the place there’s this sort of not really but kind of incorporated placed called “1-up” which Oh. My. God. Its crazy. I can’t really tell if it’s supposed to be like the place the clients of the restaurant send their kids so they can drink without feeling bothered or remorseful or if it actually is a place for people that are a bit more dedicated on videogames. They have only 4 systems but oh my god are they genuinely like the best systems you can get in this day and age. Nintendo Switch OLED, Xbox Series X, an arcade for fighting games, Playstation 5, and a geniune gaming PC. Not just any gaming PC, that thing runs GTA V on 4K60FPS no problem…. With likely the highest speed internet you can get here. Its decorated with LED striplights that look really cool although i guess they could work just a bit more on decorations and cleanliness there but holy i couldn’t believe my eyes when i entered that place. You just don’t expect to find that sort of stuff when entering a restaurant but there it is i guess… the day i went there there was barely anyone at all there too, and its operated by a young guy who honestly looks like he couldn’t care less about it, he spends 90% of his time looking at his phone or occasionally playing with some of the systems when no one’s using them. And some other guy around his 30s who i suppose is the owner of the games but i don’t know really. They charge $200 an hour. Delusional. Extremely expensive and ridiculous price. I know they have what is probably the most well equipped and expensive gaming hour-rental place in the whole island but you genuinely could rent a car for a whole day for the equivalent of 2 hours of being there. And they don’t even offer anything else besides the systems. They let you play for free 30 minutes if you’re eating food from the restaurant but that’s it. I might sound like im a bit too much of an awe when describing this but i genuinely am. Overall the whole thing is amazing definitely...

We were shopping in the area and asked a local shop if they could recommend anywhere for tacos and burrito’s and the lady shook her head and clearly said “ NO “… We only stopped here because it had a sign outside which read “ Number 1 on Trip Advisor “… We ordered chicken burritos and crunchy tacos and both were awful, combined with warm coco cola it was not a pleasant experience at all…. I’m baffled how they got to Number 1 on Trip Advisor but having read the reviews I can see how it’s mostly alcohol related and I’m guessing it’s also in the evening ( we were here in the afternoon )… My advice is, give these guys a chance in the evening at the bar drinking cocktails and Marguerita’s as I’m guessing that’s where they probably stand out … I wanted to give a 1 star rating but I don’t think food is their strong point and it is possible we may have caught them on a bad day so I’ve gone for a...

Didn’t eat anything but had drinks. Not very lively, but we made it fun. Had a giant frozen strawberry margarita which was good, but it actually needed sugar. It was just tequila (a LOT- like 6 shots worth! LOL) and frozen strawberries. Good value for the amount of booze that was in the drink. Bartender was relaxed and really kind. Didn’t bother us but was there when we needed him. Played connect four and corn hole, laughed and had fun! I’m taking away one star because it wasn’t busy, ever, and there was a man across from us at the bar who clearly frequented the place but bothered us by shouting about his tequila place down the way and did not take the cues to stop harassing us about tequila. He smoked a ton of cigarettes too. The place is outdoors and it smelled awful. The staff did not stop him from bugging us even though...
