McDonald's — Restaurant in Agadir

Busy place, food tastes similar to all mcdonalds. More expensive than uk mcdonalds, service is slow, overall ok ish, i would recommend local burger shops or restaurants for people on a budget, PLEASE BE AWARE you will be harassed on almost every trip by local kids and adults for money, mainly for drugs. My girlfriend was scared to go there because of this, one guy came really close and almost bumped into her which made her really scared, i told him off and he started swearing and calling his friends, they surrounded us, i was ready to defend myself at any cost, luckily a guy from one of the restaurants saw this and came running out and helped us get away, normally the police patrol this area but that day They weren't there, the guy from the restaurant saved us or there would have been a fight for sure. Its such a shame because otherwise this would be the perfect holiday. This was our second time there and i will never go back till they do something about these drug addicts, the guy from the restaurant told us that the same thing happened 2 weeks before to a couple when a guy asking for money pinched his wife's bum because they refused to give them money. It was the same group of guys, they work in groups and theres always a older guy who is the boss lurking in the back watching and collecting the money from the kids, this is a beautiful country and i know for a fact that if the king muhammad 6 knew this was going on he will be very angry. These kids are not poor as i see them riding on there motorbikes, its just easy money for them, however there are genuine people who are in need and i always give them money but not the young boys, i wish the local government or the police would do something about this, im sure they are well aware this is goin on. This McDonald's is directly on the beautiful beachfront promenade in Agadir, Morocco. The fastfood restaurant is a great place to rest and eat or drink something after a walk along the long beach that begins at the Agadir Marina all the way to the Sofitel Agadir Royal Bay Resort.

There is also outdoor seating if you enjoy the sunshine and beach and ocean views. Sometimes the inside seating area is too cool as the air-conditioning makes the place feel more like Alaska. The WiFi signal is always reliably strong.

Take-out is available, and credit and debit cards are accepted. The place is good for a cheeseburger with fries or another snack. The air-conditioning is a plus, especially on hot days, and there are also clean toilets.

The young counter people and waiters and waitresses are all polite, friendly and efficient. They bring your food to your table.

We got food poisoning, probably salmonella from the signs. We both had beef burger and an ice cream so it's one of those since we didn't have same meals for the rest of the day. It led to me having the worst night of my life for like at least 10 years.

Also the burgers were cold and stale, chips were so old and the worker forgot to give us the ice cream so I had to go back to get it (in hingsight I probably shouldn't have because of the food poisoning).

Employees look like they don't want to be there and it's always a struggle.

They don't prepare your meal and then go to another customer, no, they start preparing your meal as they are serving others so your food just gets cold sitting on the counter, not even under the heating lights. And it's a recurring issue, everytime we come something comes out cold because it has been sitting there until the rest of the food is prepared or they are talking to next customers for too long, or...
