I recently had the privilege of visiting fire pizza JP and indulging in their mouthwatering wood-fired pizza. From the moment I walked through the door, I knew I was in for a treat â not only for my taste buds but also for the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the friendly staff.
Let's talk about the star of the show â the wood-fired pizza. It was nothing short of sensational. The crust, with its perfect balance of crispiness and chewiness, had a unique smoky flavor that can only be achieved through the wood-fired cooking method. Each bite was a delight, as the toppings melded harmoniously with the crust to create an explosion of flavors in my mouth. Every ingredient was fresh and of the highest quality, from the tangy tomato sauce to the generous portions of premium cheese and thoughtfully selected toppings. Whether you're a fan of classic Margherita or prefer more adventurous combinations, Fire pizza jp has a wide range of options to satisfy all taste preferences. The ambiance of fire pizza was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a delicious meal. The open kitchen allowed me to witness the pizzaiolos skillfully preparing and baking the pizzas in the wood-fired oven.    Read moreI didnât think to snap a picture of the pizza we received, but it was so far below expectations that I felt like walking out. Extremely thin, floppy crust, a few scattered little slices of cheese, a very basic, very thin tomato sauce (didnât see or notice taste of any herbs etc), and the âmeat loversâ toppings included only a few slices of the local Nepali sausages (hot dogs made with starch filler) and a few pieces of something resembling ham. No pepperoni? Really? I only stayed and ate it because my friend seemed like he would feel too embarrassed to walk out. When I picked up a slice, the scant toppings slid off the floppy, mushy, paper-thin crust.
Maybe itâs standard for pizza places here to be tourist traps, as we had a similar experience at Bella Luna.
What makes it really galling is the fact that with just a tiny bit more expense, they could easily deliver a decent pizza, yet they charge 1000 rupees for this, which should only cost about 300.

Read moreCraving for pizza and pasta and thought we give this place a try. Admittedly, the food didn't quite cut it for me. We ordered the calzone and the spaghetti with cheese. Calzone stuffing felt really lite (hardly much topping) for the price. And can't quite put my finger on the spaghetti because I felt mildly (vomit-like) sick right away and not sure if the spaghetti tasted funny or the cheese (like a spoiled taste vs undercooked). The lemon tea with ginger was quite good. The hot sauce was on fire and glad there was at least some decent hot sauce.
The atmosphere is spacious but not quite cozy. Tables and chairs are broad and well spread out. The tables for two are awkwardly designed and not comfy at all to sit for dining (not sure who thought the design was ideal). It does have...
