We went with The Nepal Trekking Company on a trek to Annapurna Base Camp. Everything about this company and the experiences provided excelled our expectations.

Communication has been excellent from the beginning. As laymen for trekking, we had so many (annoying) questions to be asked from Santosh Adhikari - the owner of the Comany. But he was really patient and was insanely supportive with the detailed explanations and answers given. The easy going attitude and the friendly manner of communication deserves 5 stars!

And he gave us the best offer possible, which not a single competitor could even come close! Package - 5 Stars!

The guide - Shraban Adhikari is simply the BEST! He was not just a guide, but was also a friend and a mentor for us until the day we left. With 24+ years of experience, this English speaking guide gave us detailed explanations about everything which we came across. And he managed to get us the best accommodations and recommended the best meals to have in each tea house. Even when we went to any shop, he was there to bargain with the local sellers and get us better deals. Guiding - 5 Stars!

Our beloved porter - Ganga had to carry more than double the amount of weight than we agreed for, due to some health issues which we unfortunately came across. It was remarkable. Without his help, we definitely wouldn't have made it to the top. He did all of this, without even complaining a bit! This kind man deserves 5 stars for sure!

The guide and porter went beyond their job and cared for us before, during and after the trek. Even when we paused trekking for a bit, to catch our breath, they were kind enough to not let us remove our backpacks and get the water bottle by themselves. Up to THAT level, they were concerned about our comfort. This deserves 5 stars!

At Deurali, I was almost gonna give up due to Altitude concerns. Shraban was observant enough to notice this and took my bag and let me walk without a bag. Simply put - I wouldn't have made it to the top, if it wasn't for Shraban and Ganga, period.

This is a trip that we'll never forget. The Nepal Trekking Company made sure of that. We highly recommend this company for anyone who wants to go on...

If you are looking at a company to help you see the amazing country, that is Nepal, then look no further. The Nepal Trekking company, led by Santosh is simply 'next level' when it comes to organisation and service. From the moment I contacted Santosh, a year before we were to head to Nepal he kept in regular contact with me throughout this time and answered any questions I had promptly and with lots of detail. We spent 2 weeks in Nepal, with 3 teenage daughters and we visited Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chitwan and did a 5 day trek within the Annapurna range, including Poon Hill. Every detail was organised to perfection and we were looked after from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. I want to add that we have traveled extensively all over the world and we aren't 'tour' travelers, instead preferring to organise our own itinerary, however, I felt to see the true Nepal it was better to have a company help us. This decision was the best decision as Santosh gave us a great itinerary that included time on our own but also time with him and his incredible staff. I honestly believe we wouldn't have been able to experience what we did without Santosh's assistance. As for the trek, it was simply AMAZING! The staff Santosh organised to come with us were all very experienced, even the porters were experienced guides. Surjaj, Rajan and Ganga were just incredible on our trek and made each day so memorable. We chose not to connect to any wifi during our 5 days trekking and this meant our nights were spent playing a Nepalese card game with the gentlemen and drinking yummy Masala tea. I simply cannot say enough great things about Santosh and his company. It was because of him that we had a truly memorable time in Nepal. Finally, even if you are an independent traveller, really think about engaging with The Nepal Trekking Company, not only will you not regret this decision but you are also giving a Nepalese person much needed employment. From the moment we wanted to start organising our trip (over 10months before), Santosh was extremely responsive and provided many options for our time before and after our LangTang Valley trek.

From the very clear itinerary provided before we even left Australia, to greeting us at the airport and taking us to our hotel, Santosh and team were there whenever we had any questions or queries.

When we departed for our trek, and made the drive to Syfraubesi, we stopped at numerous places for the best ever "wow" moments, something pictures would never be able to convey accurately.

On the day we left and for the following day, Santosh (our guide) and Suraj (our porter) made this the most memorable trip. So many laughs along the way, as well as being given in-depth knowledge and appreciation for LangTang National Park and Nepalese culture.

Each stop was enriching of our souls, and while some of the days were rough, Santosh and Suraj never stopped keeping our spirits up. Each day helped us feel more and more accomplished. Nothing was ever a problem or issue for our team, and this is down to the amazing customer- focused service from Santosh and Suraj.

After our track concluded (amazing 5 days), we sat and reminisced about our favourite parts of our trek and had a cold beer together to cheers our accomplishments.

Our drive back to Kathmandu and the service continued to be provided by Santosh allowing us to continue enjoying our holiday in Nepal (and expertly helped us with a booking to Bhutan).

Could not recommend Santosh and Nepal Trekking Company any higher (but if I could give 10 stars, it still wouldn't be enough).
