Absolutely Disgusting – Avoid at All Costs!
If I could give zero stars, I would. This place is a complete disaster from start to finish. As soon as you walk in, you’re hit with a foul, musty smell that makes you question whether you’re in a restaurant or a garbage dump. The environment is rough, filthy, and completely unwelcoming.
We ordered several items, and every single one was a disappointment. The meat was the worst part – it smelled rotten and was clearly drenched in artificial coloring to hide how bad it really was. It was slimy, foul-tasting, and honestly felt unsafe to eat. Serving food like this is a health risk.
As if that wasn’t enough, we ordered a cheese naan and were served a oily, tasteless piece of bread with absolutely no cheese inside. It was like biting into rubber. Total scam.
The service was as bad as the food. The staff were rude, inattentive, and clearly didn’t care.
Anatolia Halal is hands down the worst place I’ve ever eaten. Horrible food, disgusting environment, and terrible service. Do yourself a favor and stay far, far away from this place.

When customers arrive, it’s important to give them a moment to settle and look at the menu, especially when they have elderly people with them. I clearly told him we’d order in a while, yet he kept hovering around, making us feel rushed. He also showed no courtesy when we asked about one of the dishes.
We ordered five dishes along with naan and roti, but the fish dish was simply terrible, far below the usual standard of this restaurant. Sadly, this visit was quite disappointing, and it’s likely to be...
Read moreIt was our first meal in Kathmandu. Me and my two other friends visited this restaurant on March 2 earlier this year.
The food was okay, but not overwhelmingly good. The service seemed okay too, with no extra rating on the ground of sincerity. Had better expectations. Though somehow it didn’t meet that, it’s not even all too bad as well. It’s just an okay restaurant, in my opinion.
They give you a free soda if you give them 5-star rating on TripAdvisor. There went my sense of acceptance for it, the moment I saw that. I don’t like forced or paid reviews, if the quality is not of such high standard anyway.
It’s good for the Muslim tourists though, since it’s a...
