Worth multiple visits while you are in Kathmandu. As someone who has been several times to Nepal including Kathmandu, this very nice location in the heart of Thamel suggests not only cosy athmoshphere, but also homecoming feeling (+ feeling secure as solo female traveller) . Maybe it is only my experience, but after coming here only for one drink I met a wonderful company of very decent people, which does not happen every day. It was an amazing evening - so i had to come again. That is a small pub (see the name), so there are only drinks, but very good ones. Owner and barkeeper are a very professional and friendly. Amazing cozy bar that instantly feels like home. Great view from the rooftop and a tight (tiny, as the name suggests) indoors space that is perfect for friendly hangouts and meeting people. Definitely one of the best drinking spots in Thamel with a very special atmosphere and a very casual and home like vibe. If you’re looking to knock back a few pints and meet a diverse bunch of friendly people from all around the world, make sure to check it out.
