I have to give this place 5 stars, because their food was excellent, and their pricing was definitively fair for the area! It is not the cheapest place around, but certainly not the most expensive either. But keep in mind, even the expensive places come out kind of cheap if you are used to Western prices in restaurants. 2x Chicken Tikka, 2x extra Nan bread, 2x Mojito, 2x deserts and 2x Soda water came out at about 2700 Rupees which translates into roughly £20 at the time of writing, which is amazing value, considering the quality of the food which has been served.
The staff was super friendly and very approachable like most of the local Nepal people.
We had 2x chicken Tikka Masala, and the sauce was excellent. It was different to the European versions I am familiar with. It tasted less creamy, but more spicy and more "tomatoey"... So for me it was just super delicious... The nan bread was home baked and freshly baked as well, which was a surprise to find out, as it tasted so delicious when dunked in the sauce.
I really can recommend this place. I mean, there is loads of places around that area, but this...
Read moreThis is by far the best restaurant in Kathmandu and one of my favorite restaurants worldwide. The variety of dishes kept me coming back for 6 visits during my visit to Nepal. They have wonderful salads with fresh vegetables and fruits, a variety of beans, cheese and dressings. Every item presented is seasoned to perfection and the portions are huge. It feels unreal to get so much food for such a great price. I also love their fresh mango smoothies and Mojitos. My only regret was not ordering the apple pie for dessert. In my last two visits they had always sold out before I arrived for my dinner — it’s that good and in high demand!
Staff were excellent and since I became a regular over my visit the entire team would welcome me with big smiles and Namastays when I opened the door. The lighting is inviting and calming and they even light candles in the evening inviting you into the doors. Also have clean bathrooms with toilet paper. Balcony is a nice place to still be able to people watch but be off the street and relax amongst the tall tree branches.
If you enjoy healthy fruits and vegetables this is your...

Be aware, the portions are quite big, if you ain't a big eater be sure to bring along some friends and share different meals.
