Ava Thomas — Restaurant in Amsterdam

It’s a really nice and cozy place. 2 employees were outside of the restaurant inviting us in, but not in a pushy or annoying way at all! Overall: the 2 gentleman tonight made our dinner experience here a big 10+!

The food was great, and for Amsterdam pretty good prices. Salads are big and really tasty, pasta portion looks small, but really if is enough and tasted amazing! Also the pizza was perfectly made, not a minute too long in the oven.

Restaurant is Close to city center and central station.

One added sidenote: a table next to us mentioned a waiter being rude. This was definitely not the case! The waiter’s English wasn’t perfect. If you’re not Dutch and come here, please take that into...

I visited this restaurant with my girlfriend totally by accident, just looking around really, and from the door the owner welcomed us and gave us choice of the tables, also was helpful in recommending the dish - with a slight joke in between. When my pizza got delivered he straight away noticed it’s not sliced and got it done for me. The pasta was great as well and portion sizes are just right, nicely decorated on the plate too. He talked to us and other customers engaging in conversation, over all a normal place to eat, easy and tasty. Thank you for everything and totally recommend it. Went here for dinner and it has a cozy atmosphere and design. Mostly 2tops that can be combined for bigger groups. It's a family business and that's reflected in the menu, quality of food, and service. Had carpaccio and garlic mushrooms appetizers. Both delicious. Had seafood pasta. Was al dente and well balanced. Was well presented with finishing touches of pepper flakes and grated parma cheese served in a deep dish so if you eat from the edges inward, then you're eating warm pasta to the last bite. Pasta served with fork and spoon to twirl long noodles in. Also had pizza margherita. Nice crust, generous on cheese, tangy, light sauce. Had a great time....
