Dining at La Colina is not just a meal—it’s an event, a sensory journey that begins the moment you step through the doors. The intoxicating aroma of smoke and seared meat immediately envelops you, signaling that you’re about to experience something extraordinary. This is not just a restaurant; it’s a temple to the art of grilling.
The setting is effortlessly warm and inviting, with rustic wood accents and flickering amber lighting that echo the glow of the parilla. The atmosphere hums with a lively, contagious energy, like a dinner party among old friends. And yet, there’s a reverence here—an unspoken understanding that what happens on the grill is sacred.
The menu at La Colina is a love letter to Argentine grilling, where simplicity meets perfection. Each cut of meat tells a story, crafted with precision and care. The charred, smoky flavors speak of expertise, patience, and respect for tradition. Every bite is a symphony of textures, with tender, juicy interiors enveloped by a perfectly crisp, flame-seared crust.
What truly sets La Colina apart is its devotion to authenticity. The parilla isn’t just a cooking tool—it’s the beating heart of the restaurant. Flames leap and crackle, turning simple ingredients into works of culinary art. The result? Meats that are bold and robust, kissed by the grill in a way that feels timeless.
Accompanying the main event is a selection of impeccably prepared sides and sauces, all designed to elevate the experience without overshadowing it. The smoky, herbaceous chimichurri is practically a signature, offering a bright, tangy contrast to the grill’s earthy richness. Everything on the plate feels intentional, yet never pretentious—just pure, honest flavors.
The wine program is a celebration in its own right. Argentina’s finest reds take center stage, their bold, velvety profiles providing the perfect counterpart to the intensity of the grill. It’s an exquisite pairing that lingers, much like the memory of the meal itself.
Service at La Colina is equally remarkable—attentive, genuine, and imbued with passion. The staff exudes a palpable pride in the food they serve, eager to share the heritage and craftsmanship that make each bite special.
Simply put, La Colina is a revelation. It’s not just a place to eat—it’s a place to marvel, to savor, and to celebrate the primal, joyous act of gathering around a fire. For anyone who values flavor, tradition, and the art of cooking with soul, La Colina, Argentine Steaks is an absolute must.

Read moreAt the beginning, I was not too happy with the service from the young man at the welcome door. I told him, I want to eat the Steak offer shown or written outside at the crystal window, steak with french fries and salad for 14.50 Euro. That was, what I wanted to eat, nothing more. No more questions and end of the story. Then we came in and sat down, the young man come to us again and brought us a menu and tried to sell us different other things with different other prices. This is not necessary at all because, we already told him outside, that we wanted to eat what we as client chose! This is not a profesional way to work with clients. I write this in a positive way because this restaurant is a great place to eat and relax. Apart of that and after all, we were very happy with all the rest of our stay. Specially the chef of the restaurant was very often with us, talking and taking care that we were feeling happy in our stay there, and indeed, we were very happy for having selected La Colina. My steak was great, good made and great flavor. The chicken of my friend was also great, maybe better than my steak. This place is vey cozy, very intimate, lovely variaty of plates, well made, I will return for sure to this place again. I thank to all the team for having made us happy. VERY RECOMENDED to visit this restaurant. LA COLINA in the middle of the historic Amsterdam. Beautiful situated! Many greetings from Germany and thank you very much....
Read moreWent there this afternoon with a social deal voucher, the server said yes i can use the social deal then after that they charge the price. Don't know why. I took en empanadas which are not real empanadas, they look and taste different. The steak was ok , but it cames without sauce, never eat a steak that comes without sauce. Then was 2.5 for a mushroom sauce made with knor/ maggie. Not a natural mushroom sauce. First the server give me pepper sauce. Then they replace it. The tiramisu has a strange taste. I am literally sure they have prepared the food well before. Not really fresh. I did eat at Argentijnse restaurant and it was far more much better than this. The restaurant was empty. I was hesitating to go in but i finally regret my decision. Hopefully that they offer better quality of food to the...
