Bar Parry — Restaurant in Amsterdam

The perfect neighborhood wine bar! It’s been a bike by for the last year but finally made it in. Many regrets for not stopping in earlier and often.

It’s a small, cosy spot. Long and narrow, with maybe 20 seats and a few at the bar. Tight, dark and crowded with a bit of noise so makes for a good atmosphere. Perfect spot on a dark Dutch night.

A good selection of wines by the glass as well as a solid bottle list. A full cocktail variety also.

Above average bar food. Devilish eggs €3.50, excellent bread and mounds of Dutch butter €4 and other stuff I don’t recall. No bitterballan, thankfully!!

Clearly loved by hip locals in casually expensive clothing.

The French inspired menu is reasonably priced for small sharing dishes.

The baked garlic is a must beside the rillette. The grilled cheese sandwich is unmemorable.

The wine menu is overwhelmingly generous and notably well curated.

The small tables and low lighting offer subtle catalysts for intimacy.

good place for wine lovers ! the place has a super nice design, great bar to sit in an chat with the owners who knows a lot about wine and are always willing to share some tips ! we did not even look at the menu and just ask for recommendation... we were very happy with the choice !
