Discriminated against and KICKED OUT OF THE RESTAURANT by their owner:
I visited Studio 2 to have some water, as I was not feeling well. I have POTS or dysautonomia, so it is important for me to rest and hydrate if suddenly I am feeling weak. I was sitting right next to a window and my service dog was underneath the bar table. When I stood up to go to the bathroom, the owner of the place said I could not have my dog in her place because 'it was a restaurant'. I quickly explained to her she was not a simple pet but a service dog, who mitigates my disabilities (POTS or dysautonomia and obsessive-compulsive disorder). My service dog is trained and certified. In response to this, the lady said she did not care and that I could not be with her. This place was just perfect for that. We stopped to look at the menu, and the warm smiles from the staff made us want to stay. The service was very kind, especially the young man who took care of us.
We ordered a toast with a fresh orange juice, and a pinsa pizza with an iced matcha latte. Everything was delicious. The space is comfortable, with both indoor and outdoor seating. The restrooms are upstairs, accessible by stairs, and were clean and well-kept, just like the whole place.
I will definitely...
