Ok, let's start with the fact that we followed reviews on the internet and chose this restaurant over 10 restaurants that were nearby.. Slow service, bad and not polite, not nice.. It seemed like they didn't care. Surely more tourists will come anyway.. The prices are sky high for meat and drinks. 7 and a half euros for a half liter of beer.. we didn't pay more than 5 euros for a beer in all of Amsterdam.. 8 euros for a wing dish that includes two and a half pieces of wing (discourtesy) you buy a steak in the region of 21-34 euros which is a reasonable price leaning towards the expensive Doing mw and it arrived completely alive and inedible, the restaurant claims that this is how a steak is and that we don't understand food, we paid for this dish and did not enjoy it at all. Another dish of tbone steak, by the way among the expensive dishes on the menu, you couldn't chew the steak, we were credited for the steak and charged for the chips even though I didn't enjoy the food at all and left the restaurant hungry.. no one there really cared.. the service was really Slow, bad, lack of care for customers.. We recommend you to keep going and not eat there even for free, it's a waste of time, attached are pictures of a mw steak for which we...

But on, we wanted a good Argentinian bife, so here we go. And there we went.
In sum, we’re not...
Read moreClassic tourist trap, unsurprisingly in a tourist trap area. The first red flag was asking specifically for tap water then being given small opened bottled water.
The next was the pricing strategy for a steak, typically you get a bit of salad, some chips and a sauce included. However, everything is extra cost except the very generous 3 leaves of salad I got with the steak.
Lastly, the steaks are clearly frozen from the way the cooking gradient transitions through the meat. This is not an unusual appearance for a medium rare, however the centre is almost cold with the outside very hot, evidence of a very cold steak when cooked.
I’m trying to be as neutral as I can, but there is nothing to justify any commendation. Beyond the tragic food, the service is just as Shakespearean - tragic. Blatant tourist tricks, no care despite being aware, deliberately incoherent staff to ignore any questions about their tactics.
Avoid at all costs, no matter how drunk, high or...
