I don't like giving negative reviews, but here goes. Made a reservation for lunch, got there and the pub was practically empty. The woman at the door kinda laughed at me when I said I had a reservation, and then took the 4 of us to the worst possible table in the place, it literally hanged over a steep staircase and was on the main passage (I repeat - the place was nearly empty). The waiter came 3 times to confirm our order and then still forgot a side dish. The food was ok at best. The stew was tasty but it came with fries which is the most ridiculous combination ever (my mistake for not spoting it on the menu). Stew should come with mashed potatoes or rice or dumplings that can absorb the sauce. To top it off, I got a fork to eat it with, no spoon! The meat ball sandwich was mediocre and the sausage is a kid's portion, there should be two, not one. The atmosphere was subdued. At least the...

The micro brewery “Brouwerij de Prael” was one of the major highlights on our trip. For €12 we got a set of four pre-defined beers for a beer testing incl. nuts and water and very friendly service.

The place had a really nice atmosphere and accommodated both young people, elder people and families. The place serves other foods than just snacks, which was a surprise to me.

The absolute best thing about this place, is the fact that the company takes on a great social responsibility. The employees working there are excellent at their job, but might previously have faced difficulties in finding their place in the workforce. Very nice that they are can work there and not something that we had expected before we went to the brewery.

The place can be tricky to find as it is placed down a narrow alleyway. Look for the bright white illuminated sign and you...

I can't judge the food because I didn't eat anything. The place is beautiful and a little bit ''hidden'' which resonates with me, because I work Brouwerije De Prael Den Haag. Half of the people I speak to know it, the others have no clue what so ever. We are hidden sort of at an square/plein and this feels a little bit the same. Seeing how many thousand reviews this one has, maybe it's not so hidden at all. The place is beautiful, old beautiful furniture, music instruments and LP records in the background. I had an Xavi Simons IPA and it was very tasty and lovely. There is an very nice wooden stairs which you might fell off if you are drunk and tipsy. The service is good, the employers are kind and nice and up for a little chat if it's not too busy. Next time I come and eat something. As an De Prael Den Haag employer I really appreciated...

A really great place to grab a beer. Brouwerij has managed to make a stunning variety of beers. I’m not the biggest fan of bitter beers, but there are still a good few that come with less bitterness. The Bitter and Bitterblond are excellent alternatives to those who prefer the more pallet-able flavours. The food options are quite limited here and hence gets only 4 stars. Quality of the food, however, is great. All in all a great option in the middle of town and a must try for people looking for a nice place to hangout and grab a drink. The staff are super friendly - Rami is awesome and a good person to get to know.
