Cloud — Restaurant in Amsterdam

I recently visited Cloud with my sister and her friend, and we were all excited to try it since we’re big matcha fans. The café also had a lemon cake that we decided to try, which, in my opinion, paired perfectly with the matcha.

The interior is cozy and inviting, making it a great spot to relax and chat. We ended up staying for more than an hour, simply enjoying the atmosphere. Our iced matcha lattes were delicious, and my sister really enjoyed the Cloud Special, which is a coffee-based drink.

The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, adding to the positive experience. We also noticed they sell recycled cups, paintings, and sunglasses, which gave the place a unique touch, although we didn’t explore those...

cloud is a gorgeous calm and creative space in the city centre. I love the iced turmeric late with oat milk. The staff are always so sweet and kind, the service is really attentive and flexible, so anything can be made vegan. They regularly have really interesting exhibitions and workshops with a sustaibility focus. It’s a lovely place to chill, appreciate some art work, and just watch the world go by. You meet all kinds of interesting creative spirits...

Had the iced hojicha latte, had a sit down with my current read while trying to enjoy the atmosphere. Not sure if it was the layout of the interiors or if it was the way seating was arranged into just a long bench stuck in the middle, but it felt awkward and uncomfortable.

The best way to enjoy is if you’re sitting out by the windows, then it’s fun to people watch in between reads.
