Dopey's Elixer — Restaurant in Amsterdam

5 - one star (1%) 17 - three stars. (3% and a decent rating.) The rest four and five stars out of 546 reviews. Great ratio. You can not please everyone, nor should you. Over the past three years, I've spent a considerable sum here. Not every visit is perfect, but cool staff, and surprisingly good food; better than expected. There has been the occasional off night, but this is rare. Can't fault it. Cool place, which is why I always come back. Friday nights are busier than Saturday nights.

The selection of beers on tap is truly excellent for a 'brown cafe'. The cost to value for the beer served is above average, not ticky-tacky tourist bs. Locals have kept this bar in business since 1973. I wish they could fix the neon sign, but I think they've given up on...

Hands down the best stop over for lovers of exclusive beers (can we all stop calling it "craft" beer by now? Thanks). 24 beers from tap, and a regularly changing menu. You will not find too many Belgian beers here. The food is on point, exactly the way you want it in a bar: reasonably priced, a good choosing in barfood, some classic main courses and everything freshly prepared. Our to go to bar...

Great local beer bar! The staff was extremely helpful the beer sections was really well balanced with offerings of just about every style you could want. Prices were very reasonable and the food was pretty high quality bar food. I dont know why it has taken us so long to discover Dopey's but I am glad we did and look forward to coming...
