It's not about the greasy, fried, processed, fatty, only-God-knows-what-ingredients pieces of food that come out of the machine. It's about the experience. There's something about putting the right amount of coins into the slot, and slowly opening the small door to reveal a golden croquette. It feels like winning a prize! Like those annoying claw machines. Only here, you won't have to waste all your coins and walk away with nothing.
Yes, I'm from NYC so there are plenty of late night food options. Anything you want, really. But FEBO machines are just so convenient! For 2-4 Euros, you can get items ranging from croquettes to hamburgers, or fries and drinks at the counter.
I saw on a television show that they have workers behind the walls that makes sure the slots are refilled just as quickly as they get empty. The food isn't particularly good, but if you're thinking about going to FEBO for great food, then you may need to reevaluate your life.

If you want something else, or you don't have change, there is a manned counter where you can select from the full menu.
I can highly recommend the Rundvleeskroket. 2 euros for a crispy fried potato croquette that is magically filled with a rich beef gravy and a couple small pieces of beef.
This is a very small outlet, you should come here for...

The croquette was good, we got it out of the little vending machine because we thought it was cool looking. We were only there maybe 15 minutes, and they get replaced pretty quick as people seem to come in and buy and leave quite a bit, at least at 8pm at night.
The burger and fries are essentially what you would expect from a fast food place. Nothing special, but not terrible either. We ordered from the guy and it was ready in about 60 seconds. Limited...
