Full Moon Garden is a culinary gem in Amsterdam, offering an authentic and elevated Cantonese dining experience that’s hard to match. I love this place!

Known for its delicious dim sum and traditional Chinese dishes, it’s a must-visit for food enthusiasts who crave bold, fresh flavors and exceptional craftsmanship.

The menu at Full Moon Garden is expansive, featuring everything from delicate steamed dumplings to hearty noodle dishes and sizzling stir-fries. Their dim sum is a particular highlight, with each piece beautifully crafted and bursting with flavor. The roasted duck and seafood dishes also stand out for their quality and authenticity, making it clear that only the freshest ingredients are used.

The restaurant’s interior is modern and welcoming, with subtle touches of traditional Chinese décor that create a warm and elegant atmosphere. It’s an ideal spot for everything from casual lunches to special celebrations. The staff are attentive and friendly, always happy to recommend dishes or customize the experience to suit your preferences.

Whether you’re a dim sum lover or simply in search of an authentic Cantonese meal, Full Moon Garden delivers on all fronts. With its central location and consistently excellent food, it’s no surprise that this restaurant has become a favorite among locals and...

Went there for a yum cha fix. They had a great choice and the food came out super fast and piping hot. The staff were nice and polite.

I got: Char siu puff pastry buns.. a tiny bit on the dry side. The filling could have done with a bit more sauce.

Cold Thai style chicken feet.. good texture and vinegar dressing was a good dipping sauce with it.

Chicken feet with black bean sauce.. Cooked very well and sauce was great.

King prawn noodle rolls. Melt in your mouth noodles and large king prawns in the filling. Plenty of soy sauce to keep the noodles nice & moist.

Chicken siu mai with truffles.. they were ok, couldn’t really taste the truffle. I would probably opt for the normal ones next time.

Oyster with ginger & spring onion.. it was a huge oyster and the sauce and toppings brought out the flavor of the oyster. 1 would be enough if you are getting other dishes too.

The chili sauce they have is to hazard a guess homemade and is DELICIOUS!! Goes well with everything.. I did go overboard as I’m a chili fiend and my stomach wasn’t very happy with me the next day but it’s worth it lol

Nicely decorated, spacious restaurant on the first floor. I don’t think there is a lift. Pretty close to Rokin train station. Still in the bustle of the city but not right in the city center. Would recommend...

This newly opened restaurant provides a refreshing chinese dining experience in the Amsterdam scene. The service in particular is something worth mentioning, as the employees are fast while really friendly as well! They do anything to help the customers have a pleasant time here and not only that, they do it with a smile.

The assistant manager, Dennis, helped us a lot. There was one dish who was delayed. He took the time to check it for us and made sure we got the food as soon as possible. Furthermore, he checked on us to see if everything is okay. He is well-mannered, dedicated and service oriented and that is something which you don't see often.

As for the interior, the restaurant looks amazing, as it expresses a very open and modern environment. In many restaurants, noise can be quite a problem, as it is loud, but here it is different. Due to the relaxed atmosphere, a lot of customers are enjoying their food and noise is not too loud.

They have a wide range of food available to choose from. Once ordered, the food was brought to our table really quick. As for the taste, I do love it a lot as it is not overwhelming. Especially the Roasted Duck with pancakes is something I really recommend!

Overall, one of the best dining experiences I've ever had! I would really recommend...

This authentic Chinese restaurant stands out as a gem in Amsterdam's culinary scene. It offers a genuine Chinese dining experience, setting itself apart from more westernized establishments. The menu is comprehensive, featuring an impressive array of traditional dishes that cater to diverse tastes and preferences[5]. The service style adheres to Chinese customs, where patrons are expected to call for waitstaff when needed, rather than receiving constant attention. This approach may be unfamiliar to some Western diners but adds to the restaurant's authenticity[4]. For those who appreciate a more hands-off service style, this restaurant provides a refreshing break from the typical Western dining experience. The restaurant's strength lies in its extensive menu, which includes a wide variety of beloved Chinese dishes all in one convenient location[1]. This makes it an ideal spot for both newcomers to Chinese cuisine and seasoned enthusiasts looking to satisfy specific cravings. Despite some mixed reviews, this establishment remains a top choice for those seeking an immersive and genuine Chinese dining experience in Amsterdam[7]. Its commitment to authenticity in both food and service makes it a standout option among the city's Chinese restaurants.
