Full Moon Garden is a culinary gem in Amsterdam, offering an authentic and elevated Cantonese dining experience that’s hard to match. I love this place!
Known for its delicious dim sum and traditional Chinese dishes, it’s a must-visit for food enthusiasts who crave bold, fresh flavors and exceptional craftsmanship.

Read moreWent there for a yum cha fix. They had a great choice and the food came out super fast and piping hot. The staff were nice and polite.
I got: Char siu puff pastry buns.. a tiny bit on the dry side. The filling could have done with a bit more sauce.
Cold Thai style chicken feet.. good texture and vinegar dressing was a good dipping sauce with it.
Chicken feet with black bean sauce.. Cooked very well and sauce was great.
King prawn noodle rolls. Melt in your mouth noodles and large king prawns in the filling. Plenty of soy sauce to keep the noodles nice & moist.
Chicken siu mai with truffles.. they were ok, couldn’t really taste the truffle. I would probably opt for the normal ones next time.
Oyster with ginger & spring onion.. it was a huge oyster and the sauce and toppings brought out the flavor of the oyster. 1 would be enough if you are getting other dishes too.
The chili sauce they have is to hazard a guess homemade and is DELICIOUS!! Goes well with everything.. I did go overboard as I’m a chili fiend and my stomach wasn’t very happy with me the next day but it’s worth it lol
Nicely decorated, spacious restaurant on the first floor. I don’t think there is a lift. Pretty close to Rokin train station. Still in the bustle of the city but not right in the city center. Would recommend...
Read moreThis newly opened restaurant provides a refreshing chinese dining experience in the Amsterdam scene. The service in particular is something worth mentioning, as the employees are fast while really friendly as well! They do anything to help the customers have a pleasant time here and not only that, they do it with a smile.
The assistant manager, Dennis, helped us a lot. There was one dish who was delayed. He took the time to check it for us and made sure we got the food as soon as possible. Furthermore, he checked on us to see if everything is okay. He is well-mannered, dedicated and service oriented and that is something which you don't see often.
As for the interior, the restaurant looks amazing, as it expresses a very open and modern environment. In many restaurants, noise can be quite a problem, as it is loud, but here it is different. Due to the relaxed atmosphere, a lot of customers are enjoying their food and noise is not too loud.
They have a wide range of food available to choose from. Once ordered, the food was brought to our table really quick. As for the taste, I do love it a lot as it is not overwhelming. Especially the Roasted Duck with pancakes is something I really recommend!
Overall, one of the best dining experiences I've ever had! I would really recommend...
