WARNING!! OK, this place may advertise itself as a Thai restaurant but it is far from that! Chinese, maybe? I don't care, as I ordered Thai food and what I got was a very sad interpretation of such. The Pad Thai I received was bland, bland, bland, and obviously cooked by an inexperienced chef. The "Chicken with Thai Basil" had zero Thai Basil in it. Crazy. Rice was plain boiled, and not the lovely, typical, sticky Thai rice. The only reason I give it one star (which I could give 1/2 star) is because the portions were big (bigger than a proper Thai restaurant offers), and the food was edible - point is that this was definitely not Thai food. If I want Chinese food, I'll order it. If I want Italian, I'll order it. But don't try to pass off something as inauthentic and disrespectful as "Thai Food" when it is not. "Chicken with Thai Basil", without any basil? Can you believe it? Well, order from here and you will believe it. Asian flavours are not interchangeable - British is not Dutch, French is not German, etc. And whatever this restaurant's style is is...

These new Thai food places have been popping up all over town. I'm sure they are all backed by the same investor. This is the first one of the new places that I tried recently. I ordered a simple Tom Kha Gai, and it was way too sweet for me. I was on a empty stomach and I left feeling a little sick. I have to say that I wasn't very impressed with the service either. They were kind in their own world, but I will chalk it up to them being new. I plan to keep an open mind with these places and see if they get better. There are plenty of well established Thai restraints that are WAY BETTER. I suggest that. There is a bit of a waisted opportunity. I think in the city center there are plenty of options for Thai foodie lovers, but there isn't many in the outer parts of the city. Sure the turnover might not be high there, but if they want to make it among the competition (especially with Foodhallen right around the corner), they better step it up and bring something...

Indeed, the food looks great, and most of it tastes good too. But when I once took leftovers of the soup home, I found a metallic wire inside !!!! ⚠️⚠️⚠️ my mom actually pulled it out of her mouth. I contacted the owner back then, showed him photos (I still have them), but I didn’t want to post them publicly to avoid causing inconvenience. It was clearly from a metallic pan/wok cleaner.

Recently, I gave the place another try, and it was an even worse experience .. the food wasn’t as tasty as before. That’s why I finally decided to write a review, after holding back for a long time. Back then, I didn’t write anything because I’m not here just to roast a place. But honestly, it’s not fair to pay money and end up with such bad experiences.
