Really horrendous experience - we were sat outside - I actually came a little after my 2 friends - I had no intention of ordering anything as we were due to go to dinner & they were just having drinks whilst waiting for me to arrive, but just after I greeted my friends a middle-aged female waiter approached me and asked me what I wanted to order - I could tell she was in a bad mood, and it was less of a question than a statement - I understood that I had to order if I wanted to remain on the premises even though we were due to leave within a few minutes - I just ordered anyways so as to not be rude. So in total, including the drinks my friends had ordered whilst waiting for me to arrive, we ordered 3 (non-alcoholic) drinks: an orange juice, a green tea, and a cranberry juice. The price came to around €20. We were sat outside whilst having these drinks. In the midst of being distracted and talking amongst ourselves, we had completely forgotten to pay and walked off - 10 mins later I realised we had not paid, and I rushed back to the restaurant to pay. I waited at the front of the restaurant (at the area where you are meant to wait in order to be seated) and was approached by a male waiter. I explained that I was there earlier and I had returned to pay - he located the original female worker that served me (the one previously mentioned) and she said “you know you didn’t pay any of bill” and something along the lines of “why would you do that, who does that?” - I replied by saying that if I wanted to steal…I wouldn’t have returned? She was horrible about it and said “yea whatever not a big deal” in the most attitude-rich way I have ever experienced - her attitude about the situation, even whilst taking the payment from me was atrocious and I believe she is unhappy about external factors within her own life because I have worked within customer service and I have witnessed multiple customers return to pay bills that they had forgotten about - I always really appreciate them returning and believe that speaks wonders for a persons character. I visited this place twice in two consecutive days. On the first day, while paying, I found items on the bill that I hadn’t ordered. I asked the waiter, who checked and came back apologizing, saying it was a mistake. I paid, thinking it was just a typo.
The next day, I returned, but this time, while paying, I found even more items added that I hadn’t ordered! I spoke to the waiter directly, and he said, “Oh, there’s a mistake,” but only for one item added to my bill by error, claiming the rest were correct. However, I hadn’t ordered those items, yet he insisted that I did. I told him that wasn’t true, and he said he would speak to the manager. When the manager arrived, unfortunately, she was rude, even seeming angry that I had caught onto their scheme. I asked her to check the cameras to see if I had ordered what was on the bill. This infuriated her, and she started speaking aggressively, saying, “Don’t come here again; go anywhere else and order whatever you like.” She even accused me of being a scammer! I insisted on reviewing the cameras to see what I had ordered, but she stormed off and refused to talk to me again. Why? Because cameras don’t lie.
Finally, I advise you not to come to this place as they engage in fraudulent billing. The manager is rude, and instead of protecting you as a customer, you’ll face the biggest scammer here.
