Firstly, I will agree with the many other reviewers who stated that the drinks are expensive. My friend and I paid €26 for two vodka redbulls. The location of the bar was good though and we didn't want to leave the Dam Square area, so to combat the high prices while still achieving a desirable level of drunkenness, we decided to just do tequila shots. Obviously. So we ordered 4 shots for the two of us and the bartender says, "if you buy 6, we'll give you 10." Again, obviously that's what we did. I mean when is 10 shots of tequila between two mid-20 year old girls ever a bad idea, am I right? It was still a bit pricey (€46 for 10 shots) but they served them on a shot rack with sparklers at both ends, which was pretty fun. I guess I don't mind paying a little extra for presentation. Plus, the bartender gave us both free water the rest of the night. But I'm sure that was mostly because we were two young girls splitting 10 shots of tequila and washing them down with vodka redbulls. I wouldn't count on free water outside those circumstances lol. We got there after midnight and there was a comfortable amount of people until they closed at 3. It's a good place to go with friends and enjoy plenty of conversation. The music was good and the bathrooms were clean. All in all we had a good...
Read moreVery very poor experience. There was a short dark hair lady and tall dark hair guy that was working the 25th of June around 22:00 They were very racist and bias, And disrespectful ! this is not the place to be. Been coming to Amsterdam for years to conduct business and with friends and never experienced anything like this. It amazes how emigrants move from one country to another for a better life but still have bias and racist behaviour Especialy in a diverse place like Amsterdam. Such a shame that they hire these kinds of young people to work there! Had to get up and walk away when all we wanted was a drink . I would never recommend this place to...
Read moreStaff was quite rude at times, took a long time to get our drinks and when we asked for the cheque they came out with one that said €13.50. He asked us if we would prefer to pay by card or cash. We chose card and he went off to find a collegue who later came with a different cheque of €23.50. Also, when we arrived and had ordered our drinks, I went inside to find a restroom and was 'greeted' by a man from the staff who wouldn't let me in unless I pay. I then had to explain to him that I had already ordered at which point he let me in by turning around and walking away...
