Very comfy hidden gem in one of the side streets. Came here with my partner as a treat for my last night in the country visiting her. We had arrived a bit early and they were able and happy to seat us when we arrived. The ordering system is quite straightforward with you using your phone to order which items you would like for each person course along with drinks. Each set had a 15 minute gap between orders but you could order a mix of anything(sweets limited to 2 person for the whole meal). We both ordered different items so we could try everything and nothing left us disappointed as it all tasted great and came to the table quickly. Some items on the menu had a €1-4 surcharge on top of the seating fee with drinks being charged separately.
Due to the mix we both had the opportunity to try a bit of everything on the menu. The fried food were crispy and didn't have the usual greasiness you normally get in other venues. We both recommend the red bean sesame rice balls as they are both sweet and savory at the same time (good alternative to the ice-cream on offer). The Japanese selections are all well prepared and filling for the size of each portion(some are 2 items some are a single) I personally enjoyed all the salmon dishes and she had nothing bad to say about the other seafood based dishes either.
Both of us would highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for good value for money for an all...
Read moreTerrible service — we walked out and had a much better dinner next door We had booked this restaurant for a family dinner — a couple with young twins — and specifically reserved the à la carte menu, knowing we wouldn’t stay long. Upon arrival, they told us that à la carte wasn’t available, only the “Eat What You Want” menu. I had to show them my reservation to prove otherwise. Then came the real shock: we were told that ordering à la carte would take over an hour to be served because the restaurant was full — yet somehow, the exact same dishes under the more expensive “Eat What You Want” menu would be served quickly. It was a clear attempt to pressure us into spending more, and the staff were unapologetic and dismissive throughout.
The whole situation felt manipulative and unprofessional. They completely ruined the experience for us, and we chose to stand up and leave without dining.
Luckily, just one minute away we found Robot Bar, where we had fresh, delicious sushi, outstanding service, and even saw robots preparing cocktails. A complete contrast — and proof that good hospitality still exists elsewhere.
Definitely not coming back...
Read moreOverall highly recommend restaurant. The food is top tier. Super fresh and cooked for you when you order it. The all you can eat is totally worth it! Vibes of the restaurant and the waiters (Mim and the other guy) were super amazing!! Very friendly and welcoming. How it works is you scan your table QR code and order from your phone. Max is 5 pieces on the menu per person but we were with 2 so we could order up to 10 in one go. As soon as you send the order you can submit another! This is highly recommend as the only downside for this place was the wait time between dishes. It took around 15/20 minutes for our orders to come out. Seeing as you get two hours to order this is fine but as we were hungry when we attended waiting 20 minutes for our first order was a little long. Now it was very busy and there were only 2 waiters and chefs so it is understandable but ensure you are aware of this. Be aware, the all you can eat includes all the food but the drinks are not included and are quite high (€3.50 for water or coke). But you should visit for the fresh food and the great chat from the...
