I visited this place last week with the intention to get a lasagna and some salad, with my standard order of ice tea and coke, to mix. Spoiler alert: This is the best lasagna I've had in Amsterdam so far! Let's dive in. My seat was at the very end of the room, interior. The place is very cozy, and the music was on the quiet-middle level, allowing for a nice conversation with whoever is on the other side of the table. Soft drinks are standard. You will get a bottle/can and a glass to pour them in, though I noticed an admirable collection of wines, which I haven't explored. One extra item arrived at my table before the meal — a group of three small bottles, of which I could tell that one was vinegar, and the other two were likely oils. Insalata Caprese was something special. It was a large ball of cheese (meant to be cut up) with tomatoes, rucola and other ingredients. Altogether, it didn't look like much, but it was all very good, especially after adding vinegar. Looking back at it, I do feel like I should consider if that was a tad bit too expensive. Perhaps not entirely, because the experience was great. The portion was fair. The lasagna was the only one on the menu at the time — Lasagna alla Romana. It is served hot, in a clay-like plate, which I found very fancy. I will pronounce again that it is all hot and tempting, so watch your fingers! The lasagna itself looked awesome (check the pics) and its taste was a whole new level of experience for me, after having tasted various lasagnas in the city over the years. Currently, this Ponte Vecchio restaurant holds the title of making the best lasagnas I could find in Amsterdam! The price is rather generous for this quality and quantity. Altogether, this is an excellent and reasonably priced lasagna that I liked both during the course and by the feeling after. The staff themselves were impeccable and professional-friendly. This place is worth revisiting whenever I feel like having another lasagna in the city.

Absolutely incredible dining experience! The wine (primitivo) was exquisite, the pasta of the day a sumptuous concoction featuring flambée Cognac in a Parmegiano cheese wheel, with a light addition of white truffle oil 🤤. Perfectly cooked steak and potatoes as well. Cannot wait to return. Outside seating was lovely except for the weird and rude passerby who thought it ok to touch my steak knife with his fingers and disrupt our good time. Not the restaurants fault but did reduce the atmospheric experience. Service is lovely and thoughtful, but a touch slow. But the food is well worth the wait.

There were 13 of us and they said they could accommodate, food came out in dribs and drabs to the point where some of us had finished before the last 3 came out, steak was cold "chef said it was cos I asked for it rare" never before have I had a chewy cold rare steak for €26, sent it back and still got charged. Not only was it cold it was terrible 5 half potatoes that tasted like burnt smoke! Worst restaurant I've ever been in. The place was small and cold staff were a bit stand off ISH and there were things on the bill that we never recognised and it comes to €40 over.

Total rip off! After reading very positive reviews we were really looking forward to our meal. Traditional Italian is our favourite. 4 people dining, all meals arrived 10 minute gaps between first 3 people, last person 20 minutes later so everyone had finished eating before the next person. No apologies for service/delay. Meals (other than 1 pizza) were tepid cold. Sadly, disappointing carbonara with curdled sauce and just 4 pieces of pancetta. We remained generous in our thoughts as there’s only 1 cook and 1 person serving the restaurant.

Charged €16 for ‘service’ (for being seated in the restaurant) and informed must pay. Ordered wine/sodas but still refused tap water when eating. Charged €7 for water that only filled 2 cups.

Huge issue and very embarrassing in front of other customers, I challenged the owner’s charge of €17.50 for a child portion (1 cup) of plain boiled spaghetti (son restricted medical diet). My error on reflection for not agreeing a price- something I’ve never had to do!

Owner asked me to barter with charge as he has a restaurant to run and needs money. He insisted I paid €10 for 50 cents worth of pasta. You live and learn!

Wasn't sure about this place, but tried it out and there are definite pluses and a few minuses. The owner is very friendly and really made a great impression. We ordered the burrata and had some bread with olives to start. The bread was hot and delicious and came with olives that were out of this world. The burrata was also very good!

We opted for the special pasta made in the wheel of cheese with mushrooms and truffle oil. I usually hate truffle oil, but this was really good. I had the prosciutto and mushroom pizza and it was good.

For the minuses, the owner said he was from Naples and I was hoping for real Neopolitan pizza. It was not that. My expectations were too high after tasting the pasta, so perhaps that's my fault. It was still good pizza!

Ordered the cannolo for dessert and for me it was a total miss. Pre-filler cannolo becomes soggy just shouldn't be served. Very disappointing.

We had the bottle of Grantrio wine and it was really good!

Overall an...
