Remise47 — Restaurant in Amsterdam

Bad service, but great food. Every time we ordered drinks we had to wait unacceptably long (even 20 min for wine & beer). We went there last Sunday to enjoy the oyster event, advertised on facebook, but the waitress had no idea it even existed. Had to wait until she clarifieds it with othrr staff members. When we finally got an oyster menu, we made an order, but the waitress mixed up an order (is it asked a lot to know the difference between Champagne and Prosecco?!) and we had to wait even longer on a not even busy day (barely half of the tables were taken). We ordered drinks first, food after, but the drinks came even 10 minutes after we had finished our meal (unacceptable). We sent the drinks away and left, of course. The food was great and the oysters were good. However, I am definitely not...

Lunch menu choice was very limited. My ham salad was underwhelming, a few very thin slices of meat and some fresh lettuce in a very big plate. Wasn't bad or anything, just not special, and in retrospect I'd rather have had an Albert Heijn prefab salad for less than half the price. My colleagues had the burger and the Vega burger ('beyond') and they were actually quite pleased, and having that Vega variant is a nice touch. High prices, a very underwhelming salad and a dirty toilet...

We started with cold cuts. 1/3 of meats was very questionable and didnt look fresh

If a restaurant can't serve a proper Entrecote it is a problem. First serving I ve just denied. Didnt look fresh and very chewy. The service was very good. Got a new one. Over cooked, cold and already cut. I asked for medium rare. Also very chewy, just very bad prepared.

Fish and chips was nice. Caesar salad very medium.

Service is very friendly...
