It was during my work shift when I ordered this food (I work in healthcare with vulnerable patients) I tried calling back to give a general feedback as all restaurants cannot be perfect but gotta reflect on feedbacks to improve quality. The person I spoke to was too defensive and kept telling me no worries I’ll give you discount next time you ordered. I did not call to get a refund or compensated. I called to give a feedback to help the restaurant maintain its reputation and protect others from gastroenteritis. Unfortunately there was no cooperation which seems pretty unprofessional. I mean I’m a doctor. I’m not a beggar to beg you for a refund of 24 euros. Clearly the individual just assumed what he thought of why I am calling (compensation) rather than listening to my concerns. I believe a general inspector should give them a surprise visit and evaluate it their a threat to the health safety of the population as I worked with a lot of patients in the area and gastroenteritis is common. They also share a similar story—- we ordered take away and ate food similar to what they offer on their menu. I just don’t make assumptions it’s all from them but there’s definitely a big chance after I tried their food. I’m writing this while I’m stranded in the bathroom. Waited for our food for 1.5 hours, while it was first mentioned it would take 30-35 mins. After waiting for an hour, I called the restaurant and spoke to one of the workers who didn’t ask me anything and I was put on hold after. I waited for 2 mins when I was told that the delivery would be there very soon, like within 5 mins: ‘’the delivery guy has stops before your address, so he could be there anytime now’’. After that we waited for another half hour (!) A man arrived on a scooter with a young child behind him, no delivery box to keep the food warm whatsoever. If there were other delivery’s before us, where could he have put the food?? In between all this, we called a second time and stayed on the phone for almost 40 mins. We were put on hold and they never answered the phone. Extremely bad service.
About the food: the papadum was at least a day old, the butter chicken was too watery, the chicken tikka masala was too greasy, the rice barely had any flavor (and found 2 random peas in it), the naan was burnt and the mango lassi was extremely thick.

Read moreI should have read the reviews. Delivery was half an hour late already. I called them and they said the delivery guy should deliver the food in 5 mins. After another half an hour, I inquired again where the food was , only to be told that they delivered it to a guy in some hotel... So, now I am awaiting their call whether they got permission from their owner to return my money to me... The food may be good, I don't know. But think twice before you order and if you order, do not pay in advance via thuisbezorgd, but choose to pay with cash. So that when they don't deliver your food, you at least don't loose your money as well as your time. 2 hours waiting in total for nothing...
