Hudson Bar & Kitchen Rotterdam — Restaurant in Rotterdam

We sat outside the area that was covered with a tent, around 21.15 on Friday. We received the menu both for meal and drink seperately. We ordered our drinks. When they brought our drinks, we told them that they can take the menu. The waitress took the menu harshly and we did not understand the reason. Then another waitress suddenly came and said in a very rude behaviour that the area covered with tent is full and if we are sitting here, we have to order meal as well. Then the waitress turned around and gone again in a very rude behaviour without letting me make any explanation. If we would have known or some kind of understand that we also have to eat something, we would not sit maybe but they just behaved very very badly. Very poor service, overpriced, low quality of food.

We were waiting half an hour for the drinks and almost one hour for the food.

When asking why it takes that long, us got told that it s really busy at the moment, while restaurant was half empty.

One waiter did offer " maybe i can bring u sometthing small for free to compensate the long waiting time !?"

We did agree and wanted to order nachos, but then the manager did refuse to take our order.

20 eu for a small burger without fries and a beer, about 30 eu for a ryp eye steak which was really poor in quantity and quality.

If ur goal is to wait long, eat poor and spend a lot and experience bad service, the Hudson might be a good option .

In all other cases u should not get the idea to take a seat...
