Milú is without a doubt one of my absolute favorite places to dine in The Hague. Whether it’s for lunch, dinner, or drinks, I find myself returning again and again—and for good reason. The atmosphere is vibrant yet cozy, the service is consistently friendly and efficient, and the overall experience is always highly enjoyable.
One of the things that sets Milú apart is its varied and creative cuisine. The menu offers a thoughtful selection of internationally inspired small dishes, each carefully crafted and beautifully presented. There’s something for everyone—whether you're in the mood for fresh and light, rich and indulgent, or something in between. Every dish I’ve tried has been consistently flavorful and well-balanced.
The service is fast and attentive, and although it can get quite busy (especially on weekends), the staff always manage to remain welcoming and professional. It’s clear they care about both the food and the experience they provide.
I particularly recommend visiting during their Cocktail & Mocktail Wednesdays, where the drinks are not only delicious but also creatively put together. Their Sushi Sundays are also a highlight—an excellent combination of quality and variety that’s hard to beat.
Given its popularity, I strongly advise making a reservation in advance, especially if you’re planning to go on a Friday or Saturday. It fills up quickly, and that alone speaks volumes about the quality Milú consistently delivers.
After each visit, I leave with a smile on my face and a very satisfied appetite. It’s become a place I look forward to every month and one I always recommend to friends and visitors alike. Truly one of the best culinary spots...
Read moreWent here today (march 24th 2024, between 4-7pm) to catch up with some old friends and just wanted to sit there for a bit and were planning to order some drinks and bites every hour or so.
The first 2 staff member were quite welcoming, but a third one was obviously unfit to work that day (a blonde fat-ish dutch girl) She was obviously irritated and passive aggressive the whole time and it seemed as if she was ignoring people on purpose (sometimes literally looking them in the eye when they called her and just walking away). We kept beings friendly and positive towards her but she remained the same way until the end.
At first we thought it was just us interpreting it wrongly, but then the visitors from the table next to us as well as one behind us said the same thing about her behaviour/attitude. So we know for a fact it was her and not just in our heads. If you're not mentally able to keep yourself in check on th workfloor, don't go to work that day. You're ruining the experience of the visitors. Apart from her, the experience...
Read moreWonderfully diverse menu with Japanese, Mediterranean and Latin American cuisines. Small plates are great for sharing or simply enjoying a greater variety of flavours & textures.
Numerous options suitable for vegetarians, vegans and free from dairy or gluten. There are both gluten free and gluten free ' option' dishes which can be suitably modified & the front & back of house staff appear capable & confident to safely cater gluten free.
The inside is wonderfully inviting. Warmly lit with chunky wooden furnishings, huge pot plants, exposed light bulbs and open wine racks.
On my first visit I very nearly did not order the Gambas al Ajito (shrimp). As I hesitated my server counselled me that these were very good indeed. For this intervention I am indebted. They were indeed very good. Crunchy. Succulent. Tasty moist morsels. A parsley, garlic and chili marinade was so utterly delicious that I mopped every last drop of it up with the seeded gluten free bread.
