If you enjoy REAL Authentic Chinese🤩👍 pastries, whole roast ducks, cakes, quick stir fried Chinese dishes and even dimsum(mainly takeaway although there are plenty of tables to sit and enjoy your food or snacks at) look no further!! Situated in the city center, China Town, just behind the HEMA shop a little further up the street is my very favorite Chinese Pastry and Cake Shop. Their authentic snacks, cookies and cakes are truly delicious✨️👍✨️super fresh and I just cannot get over the selection and price...but be warned! Come early because this place is a major favorite with the local Chinese community, so their goodies lottery sell like hotcakes!!😂 They are super famous for their glaced roasted ducks too, no real Chinese Duck connoisseur would purchase his duck any place else! Cakes can also be ordered for any occasion🥳 , in any design, any colour, most any flavour....the decorations are beautifully done🌼🌿🌸And Chinese sponge cake and butter icing is absolutely DELICIOUS, doesn't compare to any other cakes as far as I'm concerned💫And the service is super fast, super friendly and just all round homey. We are regulars, already 14 years we enjoy our St. Anny goodies and love the authentic atmosphere of a place far from the craziness of a EU city...if you know what I mean😉😊🌸🌿🌼✨️🦋✨️Have an authentic cup of jasmine tea, take a seat and enjoy...Don't forget to take a box of goodies with you on...
Read moreWent here for the first time with a friend because we were curious to try their cakes and sweets. Unfortunately, the experience was uncomfortable. When I tried to order for both of us, the owner (an older man, I think) came across as unfriendly and condescending. He called me out for not listing everything at once, even though he never asked if I wanted to anything else. I actually did want two more items, but he sighed and looked VERY annoyed, which prevented me from doing so. My friend and I ended up ordering separately since it seemed like adding her order might upset him. He even called me out again when I was about to pay, making the interaction unpleasant overall.
We didn’t stay to eat, which was disappointing since it was cold and raining outside. The cakes were very good, though, so I’d still like to come back someday—hopefully to a friendlier, more...
Read moreOne of the worst place to eat in The Hague. Few years ago they only acted as a Chinese bakery that already sells them overpriced. But since a few months (or even a year) they started with a small food corner. But it seems that they are totally not qualified for that.
The dish I ordered was cold, which after complaining they warmed it up in the microwave (yes, you read it correctly, in the microwave). Also the staff is just making everything worse. The older ladies there didn't speak a word Dutch or English or Cantonese. They only stared at me with an annoyed look because they couldn't understand what I want. Even pointing at the images didn't help...
So yea, unless you want to have a challenge to get your food and likes to eat microwave dishes that isnt warmed enough yet, then this is your...
