POTAÉ™ VERHUISD — Restaurant in Utrecht

This is absolutely an undiscovered gem in Utrecht! Located in the middle of the city centre, I was surprised that I have never seen it before. It's a small restaurant but with lots of space (also outside for if you want to people-watch). There are so many options, from filled potatoes and fries to falafel/chicken bowl, wraps and pitas. They have vegan and vegetarian options, and also offer sweet potato dishes (the fries are amazing). There is no stress during ordering because there is very convenient self-order service. The staff was also super friendly and let us fill our own wraps with extra's. The prices are very reasonable as well (fries are around 5 euros, patatos around 11 and the falafel wraps around 9). In short, I am definitely coming back and will recommend this place...

We tried out this relatively new place with filled up potatoes. We love and know something similar from the German cuisine.

We had to order at this booth which felt kinda awkward since the place was so small. But the ordering was nice and clear. The staff there was really friendly and got our food super quick.

We had some fries which were above average for sure, and then 2 of the filled potatoes with chicken with different toppings. Unfortunately our order was not entirely correct, but everything was tasty and freshly prepared.

If you order from them to your home, they won’t deliver in time, food will be cold and got messy, and they also won’t answer your phone. If you got lucky and someone eventually answered it, they won’t offer any help and say “it is what it is, if you don’t like it then choose some other place to order”.
