Updated - recently visited in 2024; managed to get a very freshly baked almond croissant and it was super delicious! Can’t go wrong with a classic, they do it well! Had to try the hyped Mor myself-cute little space nestled in remmers, decent array of pastries all very pretty that’s for sure. Taste? It’s ok. I really expected a crunchy buttery next level pastry that blew my mind and whilst the outer shell was crisp, the inner layers were a bit tough (not stale) but tough, and the filling ratio was just not quite enough to get over the density of the pastry. If you like that dense ‘tough’ texture then you’ll enjoy Mor. It’s still good don’t get me wrong but just not the good level I was expecting. The best item I got was the foccacia, it was crisp yet soft with a hint of salt. Almond croissant was good but I personally still like the crunch soft texture with solid slightly t filling of Knead’s. The cheese leek croissant just sounded fancy but on the May dense soft pastry side, and the (I believe) LE strawberry oat crumble custard looked and sounded delish but again, the same pattern of dense pastry bread and not quite enough filling to save it from being a bit dry. Server was super sweet and pleasant would love to return just to support.

wow, what a place. I had their almond croissant and genuinely I believe this tops it all. the best, hands down, in auckland right now. pastry was airy, crunchy, and flaky - everything u want and need in a croissant. the almond filling was rich and sweet (maybe too sweet for some people) with generous almond shavings to atop the beautiful croissant. beware, there's like nowhere to sit though. is it a fault to the store of not having enough seats? yes (sorta, they can hold like 8 seated customers). is it a fault to the high number of customers too? also yes. there's simply too many people. as I arrived I was placed behind 8 other customers, just flowing out of the bakery and blocking the entrance. everyone wanted a bite. we got there at 10:48am, just under 3hrs after they opened. selection was minimal, wasn't satisfied with the low selection but again, a very likely correlation to how many people do come here before we did. they really only had croissants (with almond too), pain au chocolat, some cakes and slices, and foccacia. so if you want to get their wide selection perhaps come early, and also not on a busy Saturday where down the road is a huge french market (Saturday). she's pricey though...

First visit here this morning to try the croissants. we ordered the almond , hazelnut, kaffir lime and grape , and strawberry croissants. We even tried the amazing caramel coffee cake -it had all the elements of an iconic cake -rich and decadent with a perfect balance of coffee and caramel and a light whipped cream frosting with a thin layer of homemade caramel- it was not overly sweet! So good. The bakers here are to be congratulated, because these croissants tasted better than the ones I had in Paris! They were buttery with a crisp, flaky golden-brown crust that crackles as you bite into it and inside you'll find soft, light layers without any doughiness. We tried the different croissants and were extremely impressed at the perfection of the pastries. The bakers here are true artisans! 👏🏽 We had to takeaway our order because the place was buzzing with people and there were no seats available. We didn’t mind, though! I definitely recommend this hidden gem. I will definitely be back to try the other pastries !
