The Coffee Club Manukau Supa Centa — Restaurant in Ōtara-Papatoetoe

I got eggs bene which was okay but my friend has celiac and saw on the menu "Gluten free bread available" above the burger option. Now one would assume this means the burger will be gluten free right? Why have gluten free bread if the meal is going to have gluten in it.... So she ordered a beef burger with gluten free bread. When it was brought out there were 2 battered onion rings ON the bread, being held there by a skewer through the burger. We were confused so asked if they were gluten free onion rings to which the waiter said no and that none of the meal was gluten free but the bread. We explained to him that the menu is misleading as if there's a gluten free option for a meal one is to assume the meal is gluten free... asked if we could change the meal to one of their "gluten free meals" which we are grateful they did but the manager/boss idk who it is was definitely not happy about it. Yelling and banging things around, very uncomfortable. Why offer gluten free substitute on a meal that isn't gluten free, defeats...

Terrible food, horrible service, thank god I didn’t order coffee

The mango smoothie was watery unlike the thick taste I get from your other stores. The beef burger had the smallest beef pattie and the stingiest amount of chips on the plate-not fresh chips either I will add. My partner ordered what he always ordered: southern fried chicken ciabatta. He gets 3 chicken pieces in the ciabatta normally, only 2 in this store, not crispy like the other stores as well. I will add-the amount of chips- was sad to see. (Also not fresh) We gave them feedback when the dishes were delivered, the waiter did not apologies or offer to make fresh dishes, but made excuses for their poor products and walked away. We will definitely not return to the manukau supa centre store. It’s sad to see that one store’s poor execution can bring down the reputation of the entire...

Great place and setup. Staff extra friendly and very welcoming. Efficient and fast service. Great mocha and hot chocolate. Will definitely come back and recommend.

Only concern if lots of flies inside the cafeteria. Did mention to a staff member and he was very nice but could not do much at the time as it would require closing the store and spraying. Main concern is the flies do sit and can infect the cutleries (knives and forks) already on unattended tables. I just had a surgery in December so I have to be extra careful about flies sitting on my surgery area and infecting.

Apart from this minor observation concerning my own recent surgery, this place is great and I would definitely come back when I'm in this area again.
