Wicked Chicken Manukau — Restaurant in Ōtara-Papatoetoe

Worse experience i have had with a fast food restaurant in years. I had placed a request for 1 burger for take away during my lunch break as i work in the mall. After 20 minutes of waiting i checked how long the burger would be after 5 minutes the worker approached me and l was told they were out of stock of something that needed for the burger and had asked lf l wanted a wrap. The worker had told me lt would take even longer for the burger so l told him to just do whatever was more quick. After 30 mins of waiting l received something l didn’t even want. I am a patient person and never upload negative reviews like this but 1 burger for takeout to be over 30 minutes then getting wrap is unbelievable. Please hire more staff if that is the reason for lt taking so long. l will not be coming here again and will advise others about my experience to not come. If l was gave an apology or better communication as to why this delay was so long l would have understood. Management please do some skill building with your employees this ls not the way to...

Never ordering from this place again! Such rude staff that don’t know how to speak to customers. I have JUST got off the phone with one of the workers & was told mid order to “call back in 5 min” then to place my order again. Which I did & now that I am trying to reach them , they have now switched their phone off & it’s sending me straight to voicemail. How lazy can you be! Not only that but my family of 6 now have no dinner tonight thanks to this place for cutting us off when trying to order! Us customers willingly wanting to pay for food from this place after hearing good things about them from friends but now after this experience? This place will never see a dime out of my pocket ever & I hope you all take my review into consideration before ordering from a place like this! Rude & inconsiderate...

Absolutely disgusting, the food was terrible. Spent $100 on 5 selections (listed below.) UBER EATS Crispy chicken and waffles $25.98 loaded fries $22.70 curly fries $13.95 Pop-eye chicken burger $16.49 Korean chicken rice bowl 2 for $21.80

only to be disappointed and angry. I may not be Korean but this ain't it!

If I wanted coleslaw I would have gone to Countdown to buy the $6 premade packet. You're doing too much with the so-called Louisiana slaw aka GROSS coleslaw.

It seems to me that nothing was freshly cooked, reheated chicken or undercooked rice with no seasoning. Stale chips with minimal sauce and don't get me started on the pop eye chicken burger 🤮

This place is overpriced with food I wouldn't even give to the unfortunate.
