Kanuka — Restaurant in Christchurch

Great Coffee, Service has been great in the past. Today i bought a Coffee , unaware of a 50cent price increase. As i didn't want to wait I said I would give the 50cents to my work colleague when she came to collect her coffee from using the app. I handed $5 over and they basically demanded the 50cents after I said I would get my colleague to pay when she collects her coffee that was ordered online . I don't feel a very valued customer when they couldn't trust me to bring 50 cents over within the next 10 minutes. They made my colleague wait, while they made my coffee after paying the $5 and asking them to have it ready with my colleagues. Unbelievable how desperate Kanuka staff were over 50 cents, (a one off mistake) after putting prices up. So disappointing after all the coffee I have bought to be left standing over 50cents. Not happy and my work colleagues agree, such pettiness over 50cents. I won't be recommending Kanukas Service, they never look happy, they look more like Robots the more I think about...

After hearing how rude an older staff member treated the public enforcing they no longer take cash and haven’t done for over 3 months (this was said in a very condescending tone) and a couple of staff I have removed the app from my phone and you have lost what would have been a regular loyal customer.
